Do you people think that Dawson slammed Hopkins on the floor in round 2 then he could become The WBC Light Heavywight Champion again? That's bull****! I saw many of you saying that Hopkins faked his shoulder injury in order to get the DQ. That's bull**** too! It was just round 2 and it was too early to say that Dawson is winning that fight. I mean that it was still a long way to go. I'm not Hopkins fan but I don't think that Dawson deserved to get the World Title by slamming Hopkins on the foor. Boxing is not Wrestling :nono OK?

it's the fact that he didn't even try an attempt to fight that has left a salty taste in people's mouths. it's also his track record. if you look at some of his previous fights, he's done this type of stuff before to dock points from fighters. in a way im glad they gave his title back to him so we can see a rematch. chad will beat bernard in a rematch. too big, too fast, too talented for bernard.

Personally, I'm tired of watching Bernard Hopkins cry wolf. After he's faked being hurt time and time again, then when he finally gets hurt nobody believes him and its his own fault.

Bernard Hopkins is one of the dirtiest fighters in Boxing, but then when someone gives him a taste of his own medicine he wants to play the sympathy card.

I'm not saying Chad Dawson should be champion, but I am saying that some type of disciplinary action should be taken. Bernard Hopkins shouldn't be given his title back, they should vacate it and let both men fight in a rematch.

I believe Dawson was doing better than Hopkins expected, but feel the injury was probably legit. To me that is a sign of a fighter getting too old. I can't wait to see the rematch but I have a lot more belief in Dawson winning that than I did before

But I admit that Hopkins's record of being one of the dirtiest fighters has lead people to believe that he faked his injury.

Enough is enough. People are now questioning is resume and rightfully so.

I personally think that he is an illusionist and a good one at that; even I was convinced at one point but you can only see so much rolling around, dirty tricks, foul play and opportunistic opponents before you start asking questions about his 'greatness'.

He had it afetr he took Pascal's belt at 46. He lost is almost straight after.

Anyone else think that when Dawson went down and it was ruled a slip, it should have been a knockdown?

A lot of Hopkins haters here. Anyway, the best way to end this controversy is to make both fighters fight each other again. I have no problem with that. Dawson can't slam Hopkins in the rematch anymore.

The next time Hopkins tries to pull one of his energy saving stunts the crowd are going to boo the hell out of him. He's going to get so much stick I suspect.

B-hop has another chance to redeem himself. Let's hope he realises that too.
