Immediate clinch, after Walker swings a wild hook around Pulev's back. Walker chases with a rubber-band jab, and then gets popped and sent sailing to the ropes by six lunging straight shots by Pulev, left-right-left-right-left-right. Frequent clinches now, getting ugly. Neither working the body well up close, but both trying. Walker is trying to land jabs before the clinches, but getting grabbed. It's Pulev initiating. Wild power combo by Pulev, landing a heavy right hand. Walker is backed up, hands down and mouth agape. Pulev ducks a double jab and moves in to briefly clinch. Clubbing whip-around overhand rights by Walker, landing only on the shoulder & neck but backing Pulev up. Good jab by Pulev.

Crazy pace for heavyweights, man. The first four rounds anyway.

 

Walker's trainer is pleading.

"Time that shot, Travis. Come on, please. Timing!"

Old dog, new tricks...

Walker's never been about timing. Just crushing power and praying he can make good with it.

 

Round 6

Good right hand by Pulev. Now Walker stands a few feet away and tries to slip jabs but gets tapped upside the head. Body jab now by Pulev, crouching and lunging. Clubbing right hand by Walker, shakes Pulev up a little. Now Pulev comes on with heavy combos. Jab, overhand right...jab, overhand right - Walker being smashed up and moved across the ring. Walker now drives hard shots to the body but gets clinched. It seems Walker can barely lift his heavy arms to target the chin of Pulev, and can only swing them at waist-level to try and land them as wrecking balls to the body. Walker charges in low and is clipped with a hook that sends him headlong through the ropes as Pulev turns out of the way. Again Walker is spun to the ropes and takes a rabbit punch as Pulev twirls away.
