    Oh, Sheridan! :patsch

"...a real test coming up in Omar 'Nuff-Rice".

    'Nuff-Rice? :-(

What do you think, guys? Can Nonito get 'Nuff-Rice?

Ok, so lemme get this straight. They're showing the Garcia fight on HBO and on the Top Rank site?

Part II of the Top Rank Live Stream for the undercard:

First up is Jonathan Gonzalez vs. Jose Rivera, 4 rounds @ super flyweight.

Next will be Michael Brooks vs. Eddie Ramirez, 6 rounds @ light welterweight.

Then (according to Col. Bob) it's Garcia vs. Martinez, 12 rounds @ featherweight for the NABO title.

Lastly it's Tommy Rainone vs. Brad Jackson, 6 rounds @ light middleweight.

I think Sheridan got it wrong. It's probably Rainone-Jackson after Brooks-Ramirez. Garcia-Martinez can't possibly be before a six-rounder - that makes no sense. :? It's definitely going to be shown on HBO before Donaire-Narvaez (according to their own website!)

I think they also said they're showing the main event with Donaire and Narvaez, which they never do. :huh This is all very strange.

    :yikes

I never meant to persuade anyone that OAN was definitely going to win, just that being a 25/1 underdog was outrageous!

I'm expecting a Donaire win but hoping beyond hope for a Narvaez win. :good (and now apparently so are you, with all that vCash tied up in it )

Even the commentators aren't sure whether this is a 4 rounder or 6 rounder. I guess the powers that be keep going back and forth on it.

The fighters' corners don't even know.

    Round 1

Gonzalez is circling to his right, popping the southpaw jab. Rivera stalks him and looks to land hooks to the body and reach-around spanks to the back with the right. Gonzalez drives him back with a southpaw 1-2. Hard straight shots coming forward by the shorter Gonzalez, firing at an upward angle but keeping his aim true and showing some good hand speed. Gonzalez dodges a left jab with a quick step to his right. BIG right hook rip to the body by Gonzalez. Flurries up top by Gonzalez, hitting the forearms as Rivera covers up. Big lunging hook by Rivera, missing. Gonzalez pops him on the turn. Rivera pressures him to the ropes, swiping with both hands.

    10-9 Gonzalez
