It seems that the blindness anti Floyd makes normal people being stupid. He was 2 years off the ring and he needs to have a 12 round fight. The same happens with Ortiz, the difference iss that Ortiz fouled and Floyd destroy him. Floyd is a masterful performance boxer who likes to looks formidable as he always look, making his adversaries miss and miss and miss. I think that he is a very powerful finisher. If the times come, he kills his prey. Pac did not KO Cotto, they stop the fight in the last round without any reason, of course he destory Cotto, and the same with Mosley. Floyd hurts and gives much more phisical damage to Mosley that Pac did, and Pac did not KO Mosley and Margarito either. Why the people seems to give Pac and edge of a powerful finisher when he does not is. They are fighting at heavier weights that they suppose. One is the most talented boxer all time and the other is a masterful warrior on peds. In the end they destoy the opponents in different fashion. But the only KO that Pac has at 147 ponds was the KO of a dehydrated Oscar that he did not KO and the Cotto fight in wish he give Cotto more that it can handle but he never KO it. It was stopped to give Pac a gift. Otherwise neither of them has been able to ko opponents as they did in lower weights, and both has been pure venom in heavier weights. Is much easier to KO an opponent than to dominate him for 12 rounds!!!!

    Mayweather vs Gatti
When Floyd smells blood, he gets right on him.

floyd fought marquez with one hand for half the fight. He did not break out the right hand until rd 6. He was jabbing and hooking and making it look easy. To me it seemed like he was making more of a statement that marquez was not on his level. That's why he was taunting and doing all that. During the fight nacho said some dumb **** like "all he got is the left. Throw your combinations. His right hand is ****" or something like that. Marquez tunes him out completely as if he was an idiot. Very next rd, floyd is tagging him with the right. Floyd was 100 worry free and confident that fight. Even when marquez connected it did no damage. You don't see marquez fire off 5 punch combos and not hit **** against any other opponent.

Mayweather was able to hit Gatti at will but still seem too content to do most of his work from range, on the outside imo, instead of stepping into range, staying there, and trying to plant his feet. Remember, Gatti was stopped by the corner, not by Floyd.

Mayweather is a fighter that doesn't like to allow that gap between himself and the opponent to close up imo, as he always wants to guard against potential counters. Remember, you can only counter someone from mid range, so I think that is why Mayweather generally likes to keep it on the outside utilizing his generous reach, which is how he was able to pick Marquez apart, he was longer than him so was able to stay on the edge of range where he could peck at Marquez, where he could hit Marquez, but Marquez couldn't hit him

If Floyd would of taken the risk, he could of KO'd JMM. He just felt good and in control as he was winning the rounds and decided to keep it safe and get some rounds in against a skilled fighter ( who was out of element ). Just my opinion.

    exactly

people say it was a bs win because Floyd didnt make weight yet he won in the small mans game of speed as he was able to make a guy like Marquez who is a technical master miss so much and land with so much ease

Yep. I'm afraid that's the kind of fighter he is.

Some fighters crave a KO, and so take chances to force them once they have established control. Floyd craves to display his skill-set. He would rather make you miss all night than rubber stamp a performance with a KO, that's just his temperament. To Box safe.

Floyd is like Jones if he has an easy win in front of him he won't take any chances. If Floyd wanted to he could have KO'd JMM. It is just there is a little more risk if you open up offensively

I think maybe the last 2 or 3 rounds a little bit he seamed to be carrying him.

But it wasnt a clear like because so many said you just dont know what sort of punishment JMM can take. JMM to me is a old 15 round type guy with a great spirit.

So even though it looked like it you just dont know even if Mayweather really started going for it if he would have finished JMM.

Floyd really tried to stop Mosley and couldnt get it.

I think he carried marquez, he didnt press for it at all and if he really wanted to he could have gotten it. Though as people have said JMM is hard to stop, pac couldnt and pac really tried, getting up 3x in the first round and almost winning the fight, hes a beast.
