Round 1

Martinez circles and gets on a busy left jab. Garcia just turns and waits. Martinez keeps popping the left jab, mostly getting caught on Garcia's barely moving glove as it is held at just the right spot to be in the way. Garcia finally answers with a jab and a quick hook to chase Martinez out. Martinez keeps circling in and looking to land but gets jabbed in the face now. Wild hook up from the hip by Martinez, sails very wide as he gets counter jabbed. Stiff high left jab by Garcia knocks Martinez's head back. They trade and lands jabs. Martinez tries a right to the body and steps off to the side before the counter comes back. Jab to the body by Martinez. Garcia times a perfectly located stiff left jab to the jaw as Martinez is circling. Martinez bounces on his toes and circles to the left, jabbing and waving a broomstick right down low at Garcia.

Round 2

Martinez lands jabs and rights to the body while circling. Clubbing overhand right from well outside by Martinez, makes Garcia turn partially away to take it on the shoulder. Martinez is very busily navigating around Garcia, changing angles and directions frequently. Left hooks from outside by Martinez. Lunging lead rights by Martinez from outside with left hooks behind them, not reaching. Slapping left hooks to the head by Martinez. Garcia is just shelled up not doing much. Here's a very nice right hand by Garcia, sends Martinez scurrying back but only for a moment. Jabs to the body by Martinez. Leaping left hook by Garcia, and then back to doing nothing. Big right hand by Garcia. Martinez tosses several jabs and a right hand into the gloves, then a right to the body. Martinez keeps moving and takes a left hook to the body but lands a glancing right hand and left hook upstairs on Garcia.

Round 3

Martinez throws several long jabs, backing Garcia up a bit and bringing around a right hand. Garcia is winging out left hooks with a forward step every now and then but mostly getting backed up by jabs and rights. Solid right hand by Garcia. Martinez holds. Jerry Dock is right there to break up the clinch. Overhand right by Martinez from outside. Garcia blocks several thudding shots up top by Martinez. Garcia takes a quick hop to his left and lands a left hook to the temple while in midair. Martinez lunges in with a right hand. Double left hook by Garcia as Martinez ducks in front of him. They trade long reaching left hooks from a yard apart. Big exchange and Martinez is on unsteady legs from a left hook! He stumbles back and falls! Seconds left in the round. HUGE LEFT HOOK BY GARCIA.
