What happened with Abril's SD losses? I see he knocked Lundy down.

    Close fights, screw jobs, what?

~Wait this is for the WBA interim title?...

The winner has to fight Rios at some point then? (In theory)...no wonder Acosta is fighting like he doesn't want to win ;-)

I think Abril might just be a bad style for Acosta, I missed the beginning but Abril is fighting smart from what I see, using distance well.

    Round 11

Acosta puts up a high jab but Abril matches it, and snaps Acosta's head back as they land together. Abril holds his hands very high, mocking Acosta with his brashness as he comes in wide open and then just leaps back out of the way of Acosta's desperate right hands tossed from off the ropes. Abril lands a right hand. Acosta moves along the perimeter, moving his head in short circular motions on a springy neck. Acosta keeps firing the same right hand over and over, with Acosta slipping it easily. It doesn't look like Abril is putting in much serious effort, however. He's toying with Acosta. Abril puts his hands all the way down vertically and flicks jabs up at Acosta. Abril circles to the right and leans back as Acosta suddenly rushes in and flurries, missing. Abril drops his left shoulder and turns as Acosta misses more shots. Abril throws a right hand, ducked. Acosta misses a right to the body and a jab and several more rights as Abril stays just out of reach.

    10-9 Abril

    106-100 Abril

Lundy was deffo a screw job, I think the Prescott one was a close one where Abril got the fight on short notice. The punch stats seem to show that Prescott was alarming successful with his connects (144 of 449 to Abril's 95 of 516) so...hmmm...I've not seen the fight though

    Round 12

Acosta is keeping his distance, circling a few steps in either direction and getting herded in by the ropes. Abril reaches with a right. Acosta ducks in to hold. Abril circles quickly to his right, trying to spin Acosta out of defensive position. Abril jerks back out of the way of a jab, and continues to bend at the waist to make Acosta miss a follow-up flurry. Acosta is landing almost nothing clean thanks to Abril's movement and the positioning of his hands (left low to catch body shots, right cocked by his chin to protect it). Acosta lands a quick high jab, but Abril bashes him back with a hard right hand to the face. Acosta throws a hard flurry, right hand left hook but all hitting gloves. ACOSTA DOWN ONE MORE TIME!! One more slip for the road...

    10-9 Abril

    116-109 Abril

Hey, **** you Jimmy. Read the scores in Spanish AND English.

I know you're in Panama and all but...you speak English. (as do many fight fans).
