Kelly should have sucked it up and signed with GBP where he could have been trained by Naz.

Not saying that a new coach wont help him. But lately the coach was not the problem with Pavlik.

Garcia plus Conte, might as well hire Mackie Shilstone while he's at it.

I like this idea, but Jack had a tough job training a guy with major drinking issues. That's not Jack's fault unless they were drinking buddies.

Why does everyone knock Jack Lowe? For 32 fights Kelly was flawless. His fights with Zertuche, Miranda, and the two with Taylor were amazing. He won the linear title from Taylor. Making fun of the double jab, and double jab right hand advice??? That advice made Pavlik a National Amateur champion, and the linear middleweight champ. It paved the way for break out performances. It also helped make him a star by producing some amazing KO's. The only thing that changed was Pavlik's ability to execute the game plan. Lets not also forget that the double jab then right hand also opened up the left hook the the body that Kelly used very well. Kelly was also trained to finish with his jab which helped him maintain proper distance to let his long shots go. I think jack Lowe did a great job, and is not to blame. Kelly is at fault for not being disciplined enough to live the right life outside of boxing. he is doing what most fighters do... "wasn't my fault... it's my trainer."
If Kelly has to go to a new trainer... I feel Manny Steward would be ideal. They would be a perfect match. Kelly is a tall long armed puncher just like Manny likes. Manny also relies heavily on teaching the proper use of the jab str8 right.

When thing were bad all he had to say was double the jab. The guy was inexperienced and it showed.
