Thomas Hearns-who is my favorite fighter. But to be honest, as great as I think he was, if I had his power I would have tried to use a jab and right hand more without taking the risks he did. I would have tried to be more defensive. But that means I might not be as exciting and great. There is a reason he was so great. He stepped into the guys punching range to land his big punches all the time. But the risks he took against many fighters just to land the knockout punch always made me nervous. Sometimes I didn't think Tommy needed to take the risk. The punch would have landed eventually anyway. Had he fought Barkley in the first fight solely focusing on the body in the early rounds and then started to land to the head at the same time having his hands up, he would have had a 4th round knockout over Barkley. Even though some people mention that Duran beat Barkley and Hearns didn't. Hearns was heading toward a onesided 4th round TKO over Barkley. He just got caught. I went on and on. Sorry.

I'd go with the OP on James Toney. Fighting looks so natural to him

I'm a tall lanky guy, so I would love to KTFO people like the tall lanky Thomas Hearns.

As far as active fighters, I would love to have Dirrell's skills along with my mindset. I'd fight like he did the first half against AA, but try to close the show more often than going the distance.
