Donaire's highest division will be at 126, and he will be mugged there...

    by Gamboa, Juanma, Salido, John...

I feel he won't be able to bring his power there. If he can't hurt his opponents, and considering his defense is not that good, he will be rendered ineffective.

Donaire's bucks stops at 126. Not hating, just being realistic.

Wouldn't realism depend on not just assuming with no showings at a higher weight that his power won't carry up and he'll be rendered ineffective? :huh That's more being...assumistic(sic) than realistic.

Donaire simply isn't very good or exciting. He's nothing special. He showed his true colors on Saturday. He will never be a Pacquiao!

Donaire is a great fighter but for me he is tailor made for Mikey Garcia at 126 and he'll get KOed by him. I've never been much of a Gamboa fan I see it as an even fight. Salido I think will get his ass kicked in the JuanMa rematch and will be less relevant after that. I'm not sure that will see John in a big fight. Donaire has a good chance against JuanMa if he can take his punch which is uncertain

    crap!
I voted NO as an answer on the statement: "Donaire's highest division will be at 126, and he will be mugged there..."

So it's supposed to be a YES vote.
He will be succesful at 126!

Gamboa Salido Juanma and John are all tough bouts

John i bet is near the end and he has declined too

Gamboa is improving every fight but he has his hands down a lot and can be countered and Donaire is quick and could potentially time him coming

Juanma is coming back from a loss but to a pressure fighter not a counter guy

Salido brings it, but this will create counter opportunities if his power comes up he may be able to discourage him with counters and win

JuanMa has shown nothing that leads me to believe he could do that...I expect Salido to stop him again. :deal

Salido is a great story I have ton of respect for him so it won't sadden me if he does it. Still I believe that JuanMa head was not in the right place for the first fight.

I just love it how a fighter suddenly becomes "average" on this forum whenever he provides less than a whirlwind knockout in a matter of two rounds. In latter months we've seen it happen to Pacquiao, Donaire, Martinez and W. Klitschko. There's no telling yet how Donaire would perform at 126. He's got the size to go there and his speed at that weight would probably be spectacular. As for power - we'll have to wait and see.

    Yup.

One fight where Donaire barely lost a round and suddenly he is a bum.

There are certain fighters who makes a fight look ugly all the time - and Narvaez is one of those.

There is a reason why he is undefeated. He knows how to fight and survive. This is a very experienced fighter with good amateur background. If they decide to finish they fight, there is nothing you can do.

Everybody is saying Donaire should have gone to the body. ASgainst a 5'3" boxer? The body is a very small target and narvaez is not exactly an stationary target.

Nah, he won't be mugged. He has the body type, and skills to be very successful. And 126 won't be the last division he moves up too. He'll be at 130-140 before he retires.
