i personally wouldn't be happy to see serg at 150 nevermind 147. Its 154 or nothing for me. If Pac or may cant fight him at thast weight then I don't want to see the fight. I'd rather Sergio fought the rest of middleweight such as Pirog, Golovkin, Macklin, NJikam, Sturm, Jacobs, Lemieux, Rubio, Geale, Proksa, Lee etc etc there are plenty decent fights to choose from.

I actually wouldn't ind him fighting Lara at 154 if the ther fights can't be made

This is the kind of stupid fight that this pound for pound list has created. A 135-140 fighter against a 160lb fighter who'd probably have a 20lb + weight advantage in the ring.

Wasn't the pound for pound list supposed to be designed as a way of ranking fighters who won't meet in the ring?

We have weigh classes for a reason, and that's to stop 148lb fighters taking shots from 170 fighters

147 - fair enough for Pacquiao
154/160 - fair enough for Martinez
150 - I thought nobody likes catchweights anymore :think

Pls no more discussion about this fight anymore.
    This fight is pointless anyway.
    Weight disparities are too far.
Sergio should remain fighting @ 160s not downwards

This fight is pointless. Let's stop talking about this anymore.
Both fighters should fight where they belong and move on already.

This fight would be worthless... However, why is Martinez trying so damn hard to fight someone so much smaller than him? Aren't you supposed to go up in weight to prove yourself? It isn't like there aren't other good boxers just a little north of where he is fighting... This is a fight that shouldn't happen; it is silly.

Exactly how I see this, if Martinez is so great why is he chasing a 5'5'' Welter weight when there's an abundance of talent 8 pounds upwards.

he started his career at ww so he's not even a big mw and doesn't have the pulling power to demand catchweights so that he can weaken his opponents like pac does

If that's the case you'll have to adjust it similarly for every multiple weight champ who picked up cheap belts to pad their legacies, including Hearns who won two vacant belts against guys who were never champs in any division.
