HUCK vs KINGPIN???

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by BoxingInsider, Oct 23, 2011.

  1. Sauerland sent some emails to us, at Team Kingpin, about a possible fight with Robert Helenius and a possible fight with Kapt Huck. The Helenius fight would be December 3, if all other purse bids are not reached. the Huck fight would be in January of February of next year (2013).

When I get more info, I will keep you posted!

Thanks for the heads up. Good news.

Bout time your boy came out from under his rock and took on some good opposition again. Those of us who rate his ability highly are getting sick of waiting and defending him.

We want good fights, good to hear they may be on the horizon.

Please let him fight helenius, Kevin Johnson would school him and be in line for a title fight. Helenius has just Power. Kingpin is way faster and has was better fundamentals. helenius is slow, terrible footwork, no stamina and lazy , he would never score flush against Johnson. Johnson jab has to be all time in helenius face

That would be a very good fight for KJ. If I were Huck's people, though, I wouldn't let him near Johnson for fear of ruining a shot at a big money fight with a K brother or Povetkin. :huh I'd actually be setting him in there for someone like Quezada or Grano.

I think the same. It's a fight I'd like to see, Helenius so far has faced only punchers who are relatively slow, time to face a guy who can box.

yeah thats right. he face only slow, past prime punchers and a past prime boxer/brawler. time to face a slick and fast boxer, and imo Kingpin and chambers are the guys to completly school and expose him

I'm honest with you, Boxing Insider: I don't like Kingpins behaviour, his big mouth and then his often dull performances in the ring. Especially against Vitali.
But he has good boxing skills, not so much punching power, but he can move and he can make sluggers miss and has a decent jab.
I would love to see him fight against Helenius, to see if the Nordic Nightmare can step up in class. But Kingpin has to be in shape and has to have the will to win.
I would even think that KJ can make Huck crumble. If Huck gets hit and misses all night, he will break down. And loudmouth Johnson against loudmouth Huck - that would be great, the promo and the press conferences :D
What is his weight at the moment?

This fight is a waste of Kingpin's time, he has bigger fish to fry....

The Kingpin vs. Huck: For the Arrogance Championship of the World. Even though the Helenius i would like to see this over The Kingpin vs. Helenius.

The Kingpin vs. Helenius: Helenius most likely stops The Kingpin. A fight that would be good for boxing and for both of these guys.

Johnson beats Huck all day long, I can't see Huck taking this fight. He can knock off a few lesser fighters until a Klitschko fight comes along. I'd be surprised if that fight happens.

Helenius-Johnson is a good fight, I'd lean towards Helenius but its close to an even fight. Helenius can find easier fights with just as much upside like Dimitrenko, so I'd be impressed if he fought Johnson.

I've always been a fan of Johnson, I think the guy has some real talent but after he stunk the place up against Vitali he should consider himself lucky to get a big fight against Huck or Helenius.

I'd rather see KJ staying relevant by fighting Huck and winning than seeing him exposed and brutally KOd by Helenius.:deal
