Brook fighting on Ward-Froch undercard

    Showtime will not put him on TV unless its agaisnt a half decent fighter. All these would be half decent.

    I doubt it'll be televised on Showtime, don't expect it to be a top 15/20 fighter.

    It's just getting him a bit of exposure in the States, all the top US journos will be there and it'll probably be the first time most of them see him.

    You already are! Bashing him for a fight that hasn't taken place yet against an opponent that hasn't even been announced.

    The opponents chosen by Matchroom for Kell so far have been excellent match-making. Jackiewicz turned out to be overmatched but no one expected that. Giving him US exposure on the undercard of a huge fight is another great move from Matchroom.

    Like to see Malignaggi in there, If Special K does a better job on him than Khan did the yanks will love him :good

    The fact that it's going to be on an undercard, already tells you what kind of opponent it will be. But, as I've already said in a previous post, it doesn't really matter because it's a quick chance to get exposure in the US. I'll wait and see who they announce after.

    Awesome news. Keep em busy and keep em high profile. Now we just need him to fight a live opponent and not some bum to make up the bill.

    Why do you not think it would be televised? If they get a decent opponent, it would be worthy of the main undercard fight.

    Karass or Randall Bailey would be ideal opponents.

    Fair enough. I'm happy for Brook to have a gimme this fight as long as the next one is a genuine challenge.

    Randall Bailey!!!!

    i know hes limited but if that right hand dentonates - kell wont be back on any US bills for awhile - he will probably get tough but limited fighter who can stop after 5-6 rounds.

    Holt, Urango - would be too much for him id have thought

    Thought the whole idea was yank exposure for him, Not many people have stopped Paulie! I'd Quite happily see Brook/Ortiz go toe to toe, think Kell would nick that as well :thumbsup
