How are you calling this fight? How much chance does he have against Pacquiao considering what we know already.

Although this third fight doesn't hold much significance, it will mean more than Floyd's fight against JMM because both fighters will respect the weight limit. Anyway, Manny has already faced JMM a much better version of than the one Floyd faced on an even playing field, i.e. at 125 and 130lbs.

Marquez should not fight above 135 lbs., period. I have said that since way before I saw these pictures.

definitely true.... but why fight a fight on your opponents terms when you can fight on yours? Does someone need to bend over backwards to definitively win on your terms?

Its one thing to be able to sit on the backseat, point and bellyache - this aint fair, that aint fair. Its another thing when YOU'RE the fighter and with the promoter at the deal table, fighting for what concessions you can get versus your opponent's for the fight.

In the end, we're still armchair quarterbacks and these guys draw and agree to the terms and fight on those terms.

    Just Keepin' It Real...

i disagree. the paq that jmm fought is different than the paq that exists today. he is more controlled and less wild and has the right hand...something he did not have in both fights with jmm. paq has also grown into the weight very well. destroyed cotto, clottey, marg and mosely, albeit a shot mosely.

    jmm has very little chance.

a ten to twenty unit fight for me. maybe thirty.

    Pac-JMM 1&2: Pac weight drained
    Pac-EM 1,2,3: Pac weight drained
    Pac-Barerra: Pac weight drained

A former flyweight who moved up to light middle cheating with the weight. :patsch

Lot of people said the same about Pacquiao.

I remember a large number of people said Htton would beat him vbecause Hatton would be too big.

Indeed, Hatton had no business fighting at 147, he'd already been exposed by Callazo before Mayweather got to him. At least Manny fought Hatton at his optimal weight.....

People give Pacquiao unnecessary hate with the whole "drained" stuff, but people need to stop pretending that a 126 and 130 Pac was drained despite giving full-fledged 12-round performances, and then at 145 is still a midget welter who can make 135 with ease. It's one or the other.

I don't understand why people still don't get that. Even Rummy and Jenna were talking this "Marquez is too small for Pac" crap.
