Henry Cooper v John Conteh

In John's heavyweight days,he weighed roughly the same as Henry,before he moved down to the 175 lb division. Who would win this one ?

 

Is this a serious question? Conteh would beat Cooper badly.

Cooper was not as good as Saad and Conteh was past prime there.

The best Conteh (Finnegan I?) beats him, easy decision.

I see John scoring a clear,but hard fought decision. Providing Henry does n't cut up too badly.

 

I think theres enough room on the Brit forum for a few fantasy matchups as well as the same old moaning about this weeks Ringside, Primetimes latest PPV or the weekly "Jim Watt must go" threads we currently have.

 

In all seriousness there isnt really that much of a size difference between the two and as much of a great battler that Cooper was I think Conteh would slowly pick him apart would probably take it on a solid points decision 10-5.

 

I don't mind the odd thread like this, but you of all people know what it might lead to. John Conteh today, you know who tomorrow, I don't need to mention any names...

 

I've seen Conteh-Calzaghe enough that I have my vitriol prepared.

Those threads don't tend to last two long nowadays ;-)
