I've read your posts and I understand your claim. But let me share about this.
Assuming Manny and Sergio fight happens, 2 things are concerns:
    - Sergio gets weight-drained
    - Manny gets outweighed (again)

Now let me ask you this. What's the need for them to meet in the ring when everybody knows both fighters have significant differences of weight disparities? Why make the fight?

The Sergio fight doesn't need to happen.
If pac-may doesn't ever materialize, there's only one thing for Manny - retire
Let's be practical with that. :hat

Good question....I guess I mistakenly left out the fact that I could really care less about making such a fight since the sacrafices would be to great. In all honesty if we are going to do catch weights they should be made at the fighters optimal weight. Of course this means a middle wieght should be be fighting a jr middle weight if he knows he won't be as effective should be drop weight. This works vice versa, if the jr middle knows that should he gain to much weight he won't perform at peak levels then he shouldnt sign the contract. I want to see fighters at their best fighting others at their best.

He has a lot of tough contenders in his division.
Why don't he focus on that?
Cause honestly, he should fight where he belongs
So does Manny and Floyd :good

Honestly, I don't even give Pacquiao credit for the Jr Middleweight title cause we know he doesn't belong there. That's the reason why I don't like Manny and Sergio meeting even @ that weight.

The Margarito fight was a good win, though, in my eyes.
But the belt is a different story. :good

Maybe Martinez should prove he is the best p4p by moving up and beating Froch, Dawson or Hopkins?
