Personally i think he will become promoter.. but i think he would be an excellent trainer. i think all defensive fighters become the best trainers. im sure he can do both. ala the goosens. he can just have leonard handle the bulk of the promotions as he already does. and train himself..

if Floyd was promoting, he would make his fighters opponents want to fight him instead of his fighters

Promoter...dont know how good Floyd is with people working under him...If a fighter were to lose because they didnt pay attention to Floyd, how would he react?..Would he flip out like Manny-Steward? He should promote but I guess giving them both a try wont hurt!

He can't even promote Jesse Vargas correctly..

BUT, I think he has the personality but not the business sense.

He needs to do something once he retires, if he doesn't keep himself busy he'll probably get himself into a lot of trouble.

He would make more money as a promoter that's for sure. I could actually picture him a color commentator though.

Conventional thought suggest he will become a promoter..

But i think he will become a "Promoter and Trainer"... pretty much like Adam Booth "David Haye's former Coach and Promoter". People must understand the difference between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather is..? That Floyd Mayweather loves LOVES training. I don't think he goes into any training camp, thinking about the things he has to sacrifice, a part of him i think enjoys it, and loves it with a passion.

This is why i beleave Floyd Mayweather will always want to be in that environment, with age he will mature. He's already maturing now emotionally, and wants to help up and coming fighters.
