Can you gimme 9 more for a top ten? :hey Even if they are, to you, mere nothings compared to Dunne's finest hour?

    Cheers for doing that mate.

104 fights and 615 votes so far

  5. 1. Hatton vs Tzsyu
    2. Calzaghe vs Kessler
    3. Dunne vs Cordoba
    4. Froch vs Pascal
    5. Moore vs Macklin
    6. Burns vs Martinez
    7. Gomez vs Arthur
    8. Khan vs Prescott
    9. Groves vs DeGale
    10. Hatton vs Magee

    ---------------------------------

Of course Haye losing to Thompson and Harrison being KTFO by Sprott are great moments personally, but don't really qualify under the criteria given.

Khan vs Prescott is kinda different seen as it was the making of him.

Thats a good list. Although as great as it was watching Khan getting sparked by Prescott, I thought his scrap with maidana was better.

Classic british title fight Fury chisora, 12 enternaining rounds and screened on terestrial tele with a fair number of viewers tuning in...

(although chisora was a disgrace in terms of weight)

Macklin-Moore was one of the best fights ive seen for a long time, British, European and otherwise. Just an hellacious war, and both men gave it their all.

Well my top 10 has a little bit of everything I think, great one punch finishes, upsets, gruelling fights, great performances. they are fights that just stick in my mind for various reasons ... here goes

1 Wayne Alexander Vs Mehrdud Takaloo 2004
2 Jamie Moore Vs Matthew Macklin 2006
3 Alex Arthur Vs Michael Gomez 2003
4 Graham Earl Vs Michael Katsidis 2007
5 Michael Jones Vs Jamie Moore (III) 2005
6 John Murray Vs Kevin Mitchell 2011
7 Prince Arron Vs Sam Webb 2011
8 Ricky Hatton Vs Kostya Tszyu 2005
9 Amir Khan Vs Breidis Prescott 2008
10 Joe Calzaghe Vs Jeff Lacy 2006

I struggled with the order, to be honest I could chop and change them every time I look at them. right I've got time for a coffee and off to work, have a great day.
