I see what you mean about the clash of Roy and Nunns punching styles. I just think Nunn would have the same problems against someone as reflexively gifted as Jones. And Roy hit harder. So, I'm still going for Jones, whilst appreciating your opinions :good
Beating Roy was never about just his speed, you also couldn't fear his power! And as many people gave it the bigguns, they get hit and get scared.
Very well until he switched off a bit in the last few rounds. (Jones was no Toney when it comes to feet-planted short hooks...)
Exactly why Nunn isn't the best H2H option for me. He wasn't the complete fighter, he was lazy and overconfident. He had obviously lost most of his drive by the time he fought Toney, but he lacks a dominant era-spanning reign. Quality, but not on that level IMO.
completely dominated toney??? no he didnt. and he didnt stand in front of him he ran and as the rounds progress toney got closer and closer before knocking him the **** out.
