loaded gloves? if thats the case it goes to Trinidad because Cotto can't handle it.. if there aren't any loaded gloves.. i'd give it to Cotto... he wears down his opponents. Trinidad after Hopkins proving he was a cheater was barely winning 50% of his fights...
But Margarito is harder to crack IMO. That's one of the things that made Cotto loose his morale to fight. Anyway, I'd still go with Tito against Cotto.
Is Vargas better than Cotto?? I dont think so , Cotto is a very smart fighter who would give out a boxing lesson early in the fight and build a lead, I dont think he holds Trinidad off though and loses on points. This is not a onesided fight.
You can't really use this as an exapmle. There's no way Trinidad would have been coming forward throwing hundreds of punches had he taken the beating Margarito did for 5 rounds. Margarito is far more durable. I'm not saying Trinidad wouldn't KO Cotto, but he'll be behind on the cards if he does so. The pre-Margarito Cotto is being underated because of his current state.
