Katsidis wants to live in England

He may well prefer England but I doubt it. IMO this is purely a business decision. He is better off fighting in England where he is well known than paying big dollars to bring ranked fighters here where he would lose money because besides boxing enthusiasts nobody knows who he is.
I think Geale will have to do the same but in America. Though Macklin and Barker fights might get him over to England if he beats Pirog.

Not that much money to be made here in comparison to Australia if the talk of Mundine and clearing a million a fight talk is to be believed , if Kats and his Mrs want to bring their children up here then good on them , maybe with Kat's recent bereavement he just fancies a different way of life and culture other than he can get in the Aisa and Australia , travel broadens your horizons and all that , one things for sure I for one would welcome him and his family here , great little fighter and sounds a great bloke .

 

Like US, I doubt UK would grant him permanent residency.
Like it or lump it, he has convicted criminal record to his name. US grants him in & out type visa. At one stage it wasn't even prepared to do that.

I once went over to the uk.it was a long long flight but it was worth every minute.we stayed in a lovely seaside town called hull.

Frank ****** thinks Katsidis is on the decline and he knows if one of his fighters knocks him off that the win would give him a star as katsidis is well known here. Thus Katsidis gets well paid off ****** if he keeps beating our guys.
