    In 1997 I met him in a bar in A/C before the Lennox-Golata fight..I thought he was a nice guy..He knew about boxing thats for sure...

    I sat with Bert for a couple of hours in Vegas last year, prior to Mayweather vs. Mosley.

    He has a ton of knowledge but made a few mistakes here and there. No wonder, the guy is probably older than Jake La Motta for **** sake.

    PS - He doesn't know the concept of, if you buy someone a drink, you generally buy one back. Nice bloke though, he's an institution.

    He knows his stuff, just a lot of his opinions are **** poor.

    Heavily favours fighters from older generations.

    I used to praise this guy but not anymore. Over the years i have realized he is very biased towards some fighters and his predictions are off quite a bit.
