The guy in my avatar wouldn't need 15. :bbb

Marciano was a sure beast, however. But I don't view H2H as his particular strongpoint.

It was certainly his strongpoint. That's a ludicrous claim. Arguably no fighter below 190lb beats marciano h2h in history

...and not giving a damn made him that much more dangerous...The Rock wasn't a "safety first" kind of fighter...the kind you see in much of boxing today...he'd be hell for any fighter...past or present...I'd never bet against him...

Rocky Marciano would be spanked and annihilated by the likes of Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Sonny Liston, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko and others. I love Rocky, but come on! He was a 187 lb. man. How would he deal with the skilled size of men like Lennox Lewis or the Klitschko's? Marciano was great against men his size and men past their prime. Let's be real about Marciano, he was great, but head to head, he would be beaten by quite a few of history's great heavyweights.

Why would we be using that version of Liston? Not to mention the infamously suspicious nature of both of those fights and that he was very likely much older than stated.

I wouldn't say that, but having demonstrated ability against bigger heavies matters for me.

the problem with bigger is better is that those guys don't have beating bigger fighters on their resume. That is why V Klit will never be considerd near great by most fans, and why Armstrong will despite his odd style.
