There Will Never Be Another El Terrible

I scored all three fights in favour of Barrera, but I wouldn't argue with anyone who scored the first two encounters for Morales. People are quick to say Morales was robbed in the second fight, but then have nothing to say regarding the controversary surrounding their fight in 2000. Again, this doesn't surprise me because this suits their agenda.

All three fights were close, all three fights were debatable. The second fight is no different than any other.

 

No way. Morales won the second fight 8-4. That's being generous to MAB. I had it 9-3 before. Just look at MAB's body language and face after the fight. He knew he got schooled. The first fight was very close but Morales landed more. Maybe, MAB landed cleaner shots, but Morales was attacking the whole fight. He landed his straight right all night. Morales won that fight even with the fake knockdown.

 

I can't talk Boxing with someone who scored Barrera/Morales II 9-3 for either man.

 

It's the old Leonard-Hagler problem.I thought Morales was better second time round but I never object to a different opinion as I understand the difficulty in scoring such close fights.I also think that although I fancy Manny in the rubber match,Marquez certainly won the second if not both,
but again,I can probably expect a barrage for that last one! Subjective discussion;so near yet so far!

i had the irst fight 115-112 Barrera also Barrera did low blow a lot but hell he deserved that win

 

Morales didn't complain of too many low-blows, and I think the commentary you watched may have been the Genaro Hernandez one. He was shouting for low-blows when perfectly good body shots were being delivered.

 

When Barrera humbled Naz that was asome and when he punched that black guy at the conferance lol Im more of a fan of Morales but people are dick riding a lot i mean Barrera is just as badass actually maybe even more dude dont give a **** and after seeing you own some of these guy in this thread i feel like watching some Barrera matches tomorrow :bbb

 

Like I said I had it 8-4. I think everyone ringside had it that way. HBO judges had that fight MAB easily winning. LoL

 

Mab fans will never let that Trilogy go..thats all they ever talk about while Morales fans have moved to Greater things on with Erik,
