Floyd would be more defensive minded than he is today and less versatile

    yup, the same.

Roger had made no improvements, but catches Floyd's punches on his mitts, and gives water to Floyd.

educate yourself. Look at the first part

And his versatility comes no because he worked with Roger, but because he worked with Roger, Floyd Sr and Jeff

I agree, he'd have less dimensions to his game.

And we'd remember Roger just for being a good champion from the 80's.

Do you think it was a coincidence that he started his career 15-0 (13KOs) with Roger and then when Floyd Sr. he immediately went the distance in his next 2 fights.

when u move up in weight as floyd did your knockout percentage generally drops because your fighting bigger men at a weight which is beyond your natural size (unless your a little filipino guy who wont take a drugs test)!!

    :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

Floyd's right hand wouldn't be as great as it is without Unca Roger. Unca had a mean right.

Boxing writers were commenting about how Floyd is much more like Roger May stylistically than his father right as Floyd was about to go off to the Olympics.
