andre ward is as nice as they come. i use to train at king's gym in oakland where he trains and he would greet people before they even greet him, and he'd always ask about how their work was, what's going on in their life. he'd show kids a few moves but he didn't like it when they used dirty language and was quick to tell them that was a no-no. didn't matter if you were a pro fighter, amateur, or a misfit like me just trying to find an activity to stay in shape, he always treats everyone with respect. he even change in the same dressing that was dirty and smelly like the rest of us and wouldn't even ask to be in the changing room by himself. if you didn't follow boxing you had no idea that was a gold medalist or well known fighter.

I saw Pacquiao at the bottom of the toilet after I left a big one.

Foreman, Lewis, Bruno, Haye, witter, froch, Mitchell, Hatton and various domestic level, all good guys, didn't get much sense out of Ricky though as he was pissed out of his head, I remember my mrs at the time couldn't believe it was Ricky Hatton, and joked that she could knock him out

James Toney about 3 years ago. Really cool guy, funny, approachable, as nice and friendly as can be.
Asked him about the Klitschkos (Vitali had just made his comeback), he said they're the champs and 'doing their thing', but that he thinks he would beat them and tries to get one of them in the ring. No trash talk, no bad mouthing whatsoever.

Wow, I didn't know who she was, and after Google-imaging her (safesearch off naturally - just in case :D), and **** me, the woman is hot! Not just hot for a boxer, but naturally really pretty! Hope she doesn't ruin her face!

Moorer - Waste of a guy getting fame

Hearns - Pretty approachable guy. He's the size you would imagine lenghtwise, maybe taller. Looked it pretty great shape for his age. It was very sad to hear him talk.

Manny Steward - He once owned a restaruant near downtown.

Cintron - Lounging instead of training.

Forbes - Pretty cool guy. You can tell he doesn't get recognized often. Then again, no one in the spot cared who he was.

Toney - Suprisingly good natured guy.

Calazaghe - Funny as hell, very friendly
Malinagi - Cool guy, had no issue taking pics and answering questions
Khan - Posed for one pic then bounced, didn't answer questions
Bradley - Super nice guy, took many pics and answered questions, even talked with me about a hypothetical Hatton-Bradley match, he could hear my accent
Arreola - Fun as hell like Calazaghe, talked to any and everyone who wanted to, seemed like a genuinly good guy
DLH - Very short with me, took one pic and bounced
Martinez - Very nice guy, took a bunch of pics with my sister (go figure)
A bunch of Euro/British level guys, most of them were really cool...

Uncle Roger had a bunch of other fans around him waiting to talk to him, so I didn't interfere. I would have loved to chat with him though. Roger Mayweather is a fascinating person. He reminds me of my cousin.

Oh yeah... the Marquez brothers walked right past me one time in Vegas and they look like little kids.

Tarver and his wife walked right past me too. He wasn't nearly as big as he looks on TV.

When I was in the Marines, I was cool with this dude that used to live in the same town as Michael Moorer (Monesson, PA). He said that he once saw Moorer get into a fight with 3 dudes much bigger than he was and that everytime he got knocked down, he bounced right back up and continued clubbing all three of them.
