Carl Froch should NOT be fighting for the Ring Title

so the ring title should only be on the line if the fight is between the number 1 and number 2 in the division?
If froch beats ward would that not make number 1?
Dawson lost to Pascal, so should the ring title not have been on the line for dawson vs hopkins?

 

Your very aptly nicknamed i'll give u that much. If you actually took the time to have a look at the ring magazine rankings Ward is at 1 and Froch at 2 so they should be fighting for the ring belt.

 

It only need to be between #1 and #2 if the title is vacant. Hopkins was/is the Ring champion.

But he hasn't. That's why he's ranked lower.

In fact this fight is exactly what the Ring belt should be for. By getting to the final of the Super 6, both have proved their quality and deserve to be no.1 & 2 in the division

 

What is it with all the Froch hate threads?

 

But a bout between two world champions isnt worthy of the ring title?
I think dawson/hopkins is worthy of the ring title, but by drinker's logic it isnt, because dawson lost to pascal
