Doesn't look like they're (Showtime) doing business with him (Bob) this time around.....and believe me, their reputation means more than one mega fight from one top Promotional company.

If HBO had no problem inflating PAC vs Hatton numbers then it's safe to say that Golden Boy inflated Floyd vs DLH, Floyd vs Ricky and Floyd vs Shane PPV numbers.

I'd be interested in your source as the numbers are what they are.....promoters inflate their projections only to be brought back to reality when the numbers are released.

Rafael also stated on a few occasions that Floyd vs Ortiz didn't crack 1.2 or 1.1 million.

Youre not disagreeing with anything I said. You're just downplaying the history impact on the sell of this fight. I know why. You want it to mean more in comparison between Pac and Floyd for Who's the PPV champion. The reality is, unless it does significantly higher than the Ortiz fight, it's not going to be a definitive feather in your agenda cap. * Conversely, 1.2 or 1.3 shouldn't be something Floyd fans should sneeze at if that's what the Pac JMM fight generates. That's what I'm expecting.*

You do understand Africa is a continent NOT a country?

What you said is about as accurate as saying Carl Froch is from Poland just because Poland and England are on the same continent as Europe? :patsch

It can be verified in HBO's end of the year revenue report to share holders and the SEC which is public information. You looking on HBO.com  that just covers programming and employment.

I'm not trying to make anything mean more. I'm just calling a spade a spade. I'm not disillusioned to the fact that Floyd generally produces slightly higher buy rates with common opponents.

The funny thing to me is how the arguement is about how Floyd is the PPV King and how dominant he is yet no one is calling it what it is....this is a very tight and close race between two boxing king pins. There's no one dominating in this area and PAC is always closing that gap which started off pretty wide.

I'm expecting this fight between PAC vs JMM to do better numbers than PAC vs Shane.... not by much but will do OVER 1.3 million.

I really don't see what's left to really argue about this. Floyd has the first, second and third highest grossing non-heavy weight fights and has beaten Pac with every common opponent.

    Conversation is over

Mayweather is a tremendous draw regardless if you love him or hate him,

i just wish that Bob Arum and the Mayweather camp can just reach a deal

because Money vs Pac Man would do over 2 million plus buys easy

Wat? you just said this a few pages ago

You're attempting to use a fight that took place 2 years ago as a present day indicator of their drawing power. ****, JMM's a bigger name than Ortiz. If Pac v JMM 3 does better than PBF v JMM but not any better than PBF v Ortiz, how is that a present day indicator?

We should be using current PPV events but the excuse train is in full effect with Floyd fans claiming Ortiz wasn't as impactful to Floyd's PPV numbers as Shane was to Pac's PPV numbers... So the last common opponent was JMM...fight a little lower than what Floyd fought JMM 2 yrs ago. Pac vs JMM will do better numbers than Floyd vs Ortiz....especially if something contraversial happens to help post PPV sales as it did for the Floyd vs Ortiz scrap.
