Maybe not 24 hours but it would definitely sell out. Wouldn't it be like 100k though, with the extra floor seats.

 

To copy and paste what I said in another thread:

I know some people will inevitably disagree with this, but I think Amir Khan has the best chance out of pretty much anyone against Floyd. I truly believe that his particular set of attributes would cause Floyd more problem than most people would be prepared to admit. I said this a long time ago, before Khan lost, that his particular style and combination of physical attributes would be one of the most difficult for Floyd. In particular, Khan's exceptional speed, height, much improved jab, timing and power, and excellent work rate. I lost a little faith with the embarrassing KO, but he has come along brilliantly since then.

That said, I think Khan's punch resistance, and general boxing IQ and timing, would be the factors that would be put most to the test in order to really test Floyd. The first two, Khan lacks and could well be his downfall again. His timing is much improved, but Floyd's timing is utterly exceptional. I see either Khan ahead on the cards, getting caught and stopped (or going gun shy and running to a UD loss), or if he overcomes his weaknesses then he may well outwork Floyd to a close (and likely controversial) decision. I'd like to think the second will be possible within a year to two.

To put my views into context, I thought Floyd would beat Hatton, and Wlad would beat Haye, and Ward will beat Froch. I don't pick based on nationality, race, or how irritating a fighter is. I just think Khan has something that will cause Floyd more problems than he has had since Castillo gave him fits (for whatever reason) in their first fight.

 

The fight will sell out, I'm sure of that. I just think It'll take a couple more days to do so.

That fight couldn't even sell out a 5th of Wembley altogether, nevermind in 1 day. Khan only got 30'000 PPV's for his last fight and that was with it only costing about $20. Nobody cares about Mayweather outside of America.

 

Then why did he only get about 20'000 PPV's against Ortiz when it only cost £15? I doubt 1 in a 100 knows who Floyd is in the UK.
