Got to say I'm very disappointed. Completely lacking in the single shot shatterings that made the boxing vids so watchable. On that evidence there is a distict shortage of glass jaws among MMA ranks.
There were six Fragile Mandibled Frauds on display here and three of them were one-shotted. Obviously you're too Glass Brained to understand what's going on here.atsch
Perhaps my glass eyes are failing me. But I doubt that effort will acheive the critical acclaim of the boxings vids.
No, it's a work in progress because, as mentioned above, Zuffa pursues copyright infringers mercilessly and it's hard to find the videos we need to take it to another level. Be patient, we have to iron out the kinks.
Don't make me laugh. See 1 minute 50 seconds of this video: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DclzJW_FnME[/ame] The "iron-chinned" Calzaggers getting flattened by a single-shot from a featherfisted nobody, the guy couldn't even do his fans the common courtesy of dominating the disgraceful WBOgus bums he dredged up from outer Mongolia to make his glorious world title defences against.
This not unlike an Indie type of film.A little rough around the edges but it gets the point across.Glass jawed MMA frauds exposed as the wankers they really are.
Exactly fc, from what I hear, 46and0 went for a more rugged, honest approach with this film, using minimal CGI and special effects, and letting the Glass Jaws do the talking. The man is a master of his craft. :happy:deal
Indeed, I thought it conveyed the underlying point well, that is, that Glass Jaws exist in MMA. However, due to the more simplistic approach being lost on longtime fans of the series who, whether justly or not, expect the same polished glass shattering highlights as before, we should follow up not only with more disgraceful Mandibles than those displayed but also with the same finesse the fans know and love. MMA will, however, prove to be an outstanding place to build the franchise up because every card is filled with at least two or three complete China Chinned Hype Jobs and the potential for educating the masses about proper punch resistance is huge here.
