Cotto has been great for boxing in recent years but I think there are times when a guy just has your number.I admit I was a Margarito fan since he beat Golden Johnson and only really gave up when he did the Freddie Roach thing.I though Garcia would be great for him but I remember chatting to a guy from Oxnard about this and he told me that there's a bad crowd at that gym led by Rios and he felt they were all wrong for Margarito and that he felt AM wouldn't have pulled the stuff about Roach were he not with that crowd.Speculation,I grant you but the guy seemed to know his stuff.Cotto will need a whole new bag of tricks because even after a 5 round masterclass he ran out of ways to halt Margarito's assaults.Think boxing needs a Cotto win,but can only see it if Margarito has faded more than I thought.

Margarito catches too much **** for the Roach thing. You're not talking about some kind hearted trainer who never speaks an ill word. Roach has dragged De la Hoya, BHOP, Margarito, Garcia, and a hell of a lot more through the mud. Once the game is initiated, its too late to declare the boundaries.

I only think that if it happened the way we've been told I think it's the kind of thing you keep to yourself. Can you imagine if Floyd made a similar remark about Ali's Parkinsons?I certainly don't think Freddie's whiter than white, definitely not.I also took a lot of flak from people for sticking by Margarito but I just think certain things should remain unsaid,if indeed they were.

Margarito was also knocked out by Mosley ..I don't recall Cotto taking back to back beatings like that

Doubt is exactly what will give Cotto another defeat here.

He'll hit Margo with bombs, Margo wont go away and doubt will start creeping in, and then soon as Cotto starts back pedalling, this fight is gonna be over, AGAIN.

Cottos handler (well, Bob Arum to be precise) is going to end Cottos career here.

Cotto and Margarito are two of my favorite fighters, and have been for years. I have no preference one way or the other.

In my opinion both are equally damaged. Both boxers have taken a lot of damage, and neither is what he was at his peak.

I expect this fight to be pretty much a repeat of the first fight but less intense and dramatic.

Manny is wrong. He's just saying what he thinks he should say. I think he really believes otherwise.

Ya -- and he made the "Jones/get to work" comment about 10 seconds before Johnsons knocked Roy out.

He made the "fadin' fast" comment to JT between the 6th and 7th rounds of JT/KP I.

Steward is a good, but over rated, trainer. As a color commentator he is okay, but he says a lot of stupid ****.

In general he frequently makes predictions that prove to be totally wrong.

Too much of Tony's ability to win this fight depends on this. I don't think its such a given. Age and wars may have taken their toll. We'll see.
