    I know.

    Martinez should stay at 160 and fight guys like Pirog, Golovkin, Sturm, Geale or Proksa
    A rematch vs Margarito at 154 would great too

    sergio started as a welterweight

    name other welterweights besides the 6 foot 3 thomas hearns that fought at super middle much less light heavyweight

    yeah sergio is such the ***** for not wanting to "man up" and fight a super middle .....
    you guys are ****ing idiots

    Ward is better than Martinez in every single way.

    Ward could be 20 pounds smaller and he'd still beat the **** out of Sergio

    Swelling around the eyes for Martinez and a fairly close Ward UD, say 8-4.

    My reasons rest with size advantage for Ward, similar handspeed, similar ring generalship, and ultimately some in-fighting forced upon Martinez where Ward is comfortable and in this case, would make Sergio panic at times. Watch the head and the switch-hitting.

    :lol:

    let it go man...

    That being said if they fought Ward would beat him..

    Ward is genuine Supermiddle/Light heavyweight and Martinez is honestly pretty small light middle and started as welter..

    umm... what about Pacman or Donaire???? Yeah I know the guy is skilled... but weren't we just saying Dawson was the second best after Mayweather.. and where is he know???.. Let's not jump the gun because a fighter is slick.. you need dominance to back up ranking and Ward's test will be in December against Froch- his potential coming out party or his potential let down-....

    Ward beats Martinez because he is bigger and is just as fast, slick, skilled, and stronger.... plus he is very polished (as someone had stated earlier).. it woul dbe very hard for Martinez to beat someone as big and gifted as Ward.... a better step up in competition for Martinez would be Pirog and Sturm, after them then a Dirrel or Ward would make a little more sense... but for now, I think its obvious Martinez would be bullied and outclassed.. much like Hopkins-Trinidad beat down.. but Ward would head in the favorite...

    I dont know why i wrote light there i meant middleweight and started as welter... i have sene bigger light middleweights as well. is Martinez big because he has long reach... does not look that big frames to me..

    Ward, and even if they were naturally the same size, I'd favor him. He's the more versatile fighter. Martinez really only has one gear as far as I can tell and doesn't offer up many different looks. Ward, on the other hand, can box, come forward, fight an inside fight, and has some dirty/mauling tricks up his sleeve. Ward's mental concentration is impressive as well. Martinez tends to have mid-round mental lapses. I think Ward's just a better fighter, even if he doesn't always look spectacular or aesthetically pleasing in the ring.
