I was never impressed with Monzon's style, other than his maintenance of distance, consistency, and cool under fire. I like Trinidad's chances probably the best of all the middleweights he's been thrown in with lately, but I think Monzon lands more and gets hit less, for the reasons I stated above. A fight Monzon can't possibly lose. While Tito could punch, he didn't have the range. Monzon the preying mantis systematically stalks, jabs and grabs and ultimately plows Tito with a hard right, culminating in a mid-rounds stoppage win.
