Who do you like between Tyson and Pong, BE?

I mean, obviously I know who you like, but who do you fancy h2h?

Or better yet: a round-robin between Tyson, Pong, Segura & Viloria? :think

He box a few good boxers but he has also box a lot of bums and nobody can deny that.....

IMO Marquez would win by TKO

I think Marquez may be a little too strong for Segura...

I concur with your final conclusion, but not at all how you've arrived there. :yep

Marquez has a solid resume, but if you strip away all the filler Pong's is actually even better.

Marquez shouldn't be favored because Pong was some padded/protected champion...he should be favored because he's a prime beast and Pong is a bit past it.

Tyson Marquez don't impress me one bit. Miranda would kill him.Mathalane would probably be too much for this kid.

Pingo?? Marquez would toy with him.

Don't even think about bringing up that common opponent of theirs, either (the Flip one, not Valentin Leon...who Marquez stopped in half the time, btw). :bart

The thing with the lower weight is that a guy that is 12-5 can KO a ATG and then get KO by a guy that is 17-6.... Its is very hard to predict the lower weights IMO

The chief complaint about the lower weights from the HW-only zombies is that you hardly ever see knockouts.

"Little guys have no power, ah derp derp..."

Guess what, geniuses? It's also smaller guys with naturally lower punch resistance taking the shots. :yep

Yeah, what does it matter about his filler fights? You implied he hasn't been facing real competition. But, strip away those fights, as they're irrelevant anyway and he's had better competition than a lot of champions around right now. Actually, since 2001, the year he first got the flyweight title, he's gone, if I'm not mistaken not only 22-1-1 in world title fights, but 10-1-1 against former, current and future (at the time) world champions, and three of those champs have been 2010-2011. So, how isn't he facing real competition? Forget the nobodies he's faced, and notice he's also faced very good competition. To not acknowledge that is silly.

 Why even respond to PIPO? Didn't his expert analysis regarding Narvaez before the Donaire fight involve Narvaez being "extremely easy to hit". :rofl

No one is saying that Pongsaklek Wonjongkam is not good if you read my post you would of understood that its just that age 30 plus he can no longer hang with the young hungry lions IMO and fighting bums is not helping either other then making money off the thai fans....

Not at all, just pointing out how ironic it is that the myth exists when boxers from minimum to feather probably score the most sensational knockouts in the sport due to their blistering speed to go along with their power relative to their size. The post of yours quoted there was just a jumping off point to make that observation. :good
