I don't understand why Ibragimov is underrated and Haye is a joke. They both just ran against Wlad but Haye was actually a lot less negative. I think Haye is largely smoke and mirrors but he put up a better performance than Ibragimov.

    You really don't get why?

How much **** did Iggy talk before his negative performance against Wlad?

    How much did Haye talk?

Which one promised a war, and vowed to go for the knockout at all costs?

I'm on board. He could have done a lot more.

It's a shame the unification with Chagaev didn't come off. From what I recall Chagaev got injured in the build up

    :deal

That would have been a good fight

Ibragimov was better than Chagaev and Povetkin. He has quick hands and feet, and maybe better power. A pity he retired early.

He definitely had better power than both imo. The Mora fight as an example of common opponents

Holmes wasnt that far removed in his title reign and was never beaten same way again.

But had already been twice (controversially) beaten by a light heavy, had gone a year and a half without a fight, and I believe took the fight on short notice.

Holmes is one of those rare guys who came back years later with more than what he left with.

Ibragimov could have been great. If he could have combined the fast handed knock out artist with the textbook boxer, he would have been great.

    horrible comparison :rofl

Holmes was only 38 years old... had 2 losses, both 15 round close decisions
with his last fight being only 17 months earlier....and Tyson CRUSHED him in 4 rounds.....
Holyfield had 8 losses...and was 46 years old...and the "young lion" jabbed and bored everyone to ****ing death with his barney rubble like ferociousness!

how the hell is that even close to the same thing? because its not....

and what holmes do after tyson? run off six straight wins including undefeated ray mercer before losing to the undisputed undefeated champ holyfield. then he runs off 7 more straight wins and loses 12 rounder to mccall for the WBC title
so obviously crushing holmes like he did , tyson does and should get praise...
