    2009 proved he had potential.

I dont expect him to be a super star, but i think he can be a solid first grader who could create a good partnership with pearce.

He also never gets in trouble off field, which is something we need.

Brian Smith is very good at bringing the best out of young talent so i guess we dont have long to see how much Morts has.

the australian slang for a 'fun stall operator' at country shows is 'showies'....

    the american slang is 'carneys'.

todd certainly was a ****en carnival at the red, white and blues.

now he goes to the sharks. which is what all showies are anyway.

could be a good move for todd.....

In 2009 he was amazing, he had like 3-4 line breaks per game, not to mention his tries in those games, and he was defending extremely well as well.

2010, he lost his way abit which is a following trend with MOST 2nd year rookies.

2011, he didn't get a chance to prove himself, which is a shame because he had plenty of potential and was playing for his spot realistically but never got the chance.

It's a shame, now watch Brian Smith make him into a great 5/8th.

The Refs needed to be a fair bit sharper in todays game. Too much ****ing about in the play the ball area, the 10 metre defensive line was all over the place and some strange calls at times.

    Aussies should win this easy

    Hardly... This is the "story"...

ALMOST every time Chris Sandow heads to Cherbourg this column receives reports about his behaviour in his home town - and more times than not it's negative.

Take last week. I received calls that Sandow had been involved in a fight after a wedding last Friday night. It was alleged that the halfback and his cousin were involved in a scuffle with two women. My initial inquiries revealed that Sandow went to the defence of his mother, who was knocked down at the wedding, and I was told that no police were called and no one was charged.

Two days after making those calls further information revealed that two women went to local police to report the incident - but the word was that the allegations made against Sandow were "tissue thin". Police also confided that Sandow was generally a very good influence when he returned to the mission and was seen as something of a role model. Regardless of what happened, Parramatta are going to have to carefully monitor Sandow's trips back home.
