The fighter makes the belt not the other way around. Mitchell becoming the lineal champion means what exactly? Does it stop him from getting blasted out in two rounds against Calzaghe or losing to a part time school teacher?

Who did Brewer ever beat worth mentioning? The answer is no one. The fact that he was getting koed by journeyman should tell you how good he was
I never said Lewis or Dawson were shot. You have completely missed the point I was trying to make

He practically lost every round past 5 - he got a gift. Hopkins should of won by at least two points.
Dawson was considered to be the man to beat in the lhw division going into the Pascal fight.

Lacy was a journeyman. He was basically a bodybuilder with a belt. Did the belt make him a more complete fighter? Of course not.

What about Ruiz - the hugging python? Is he consisdered a top fighter because he had a belt - or a don king connected journeyman?

You actually think Jones would of struggled with Ottke? And you are using the fact that Ottke beat Tarver in the amatuers as some kind of proof?

    Jones ducked Erdei???

The TS is a hater and a dumbass.

I agree with your post.Toney was robbed twice against Griffin and against Peter. Also, the Thadzi fight was extremely close.

I watched Ottke and he got so many gifts because the officials were corrupted. He would never even have become champion against Brewer or stayed champion very long , had he fought in the US where the German could not corrupt the officials

To even get a shot at Brewer with just 13 fights, based on that alone you knew something fishy was going to happen.

So by your own admission, he was only champ for 5 fights as you claim Mitchell as the lineal champ.
Another of your arguments was that Ottke was champ so why should he travel, was he born champ? Because as far as i can see the guy didn't have a single fight outside of Germany? He got a SD against Brewer twice in Germany despite Brewer being champ in the first fight. He then went on to get a SD against Mitchell, again in his own backyard, despite Mitchell being "lineal champ" in your eyes, so why didn't Ottke travel that time?

Fact is he made a career out of SD a few half decent fights in Germany, was scared shitless of every legitimate challenge, and couldn't crack an egg.

Even James Toney's losses are more impressive than Ottkes wins. Toney just loved to eat.

Head to Head at SuperMiddle Toney tears Sven a new arsehole.

  6. FFS Jim, I told you not to air Team Elite laundry in public. Look I know you can't get on telly for love nor money, especially after your ill-judged "nignog" comment on live radio, but it's crass to broadcast your differences with bailey on a public forum. :patsch:patsch

Why don't you join me, Bobby Davro, Floyd Mayweather, HEADBANGER, and bailey for a frothy jug of dandelion and burdock and we can iron out this ongoing niggling issue? :deal

If Davro's there I'm in, how about getting Chegwin and Bruno out for a bit of Toney-Ottke It's A Knockout?

Im not trying to prove anything not sure what you are reffering to here.

Point is who knows. Jones was behind on one card against a novice small LHW in Griffin who isnt as good as Ottke or Erdei.
Jones was WBO mandatory for Erdei and didnt take it. Who knows the reasons
