The questions is plain and simple, why does Pac beat Floyd? Floyd has fought guys with power, southpaws, southpaws with power, aggressive fighters, bigger, small etc.. One can logically explain why Floyd beats Pac, but why does Pac beat Floyd? I've never heard of someone who favs Pac give a logical answer, just an emotional explosion "Floyd's scared" , "Pac hits hard" etc

i dont see Manny winning, i see him as very dangerous and very gifted but i think Floyd would pick him apart like Marquez did

i dont know if im in the minority here but i think Floyd wins

I also believe he would win, but I could use logical to explain why. Marquez is exposing him as a man that has trouble with disciplined boxers. Most of his opponents has tried to outmuscle him and paid the price. Manny is gifted and dangerous, but I don't see what he can bring that says he wins. Just seeing if anyone who believes he wins can logically explain why he wins.

Good luck getting that out of *******s. I am sure that there are some "Pac fans" that can break it down though.

I don't see him winning either. I think Floyd will muscle him into positions and pick him apart one punch at a time, He's too good.

People that think Pacquaio would win, think so for the following reasons :

Speed : Pacquaio has faster hands than Floyd at this point (slightly) and has the much faster feet. They think that he may catch Floyd with something he doesn't see coming.

Power : People think Pacquaio would hurt Floyd if he caught him, something we've seldom seen, and if he did hurt him he'd jump right on him and try to finish him, unlike Mosley did.

Work rate : Pac can fight a fast and furious pace, and maybe he could push Floyd out of his comfort zone, and force him into the wrong kind of fight.

Like I said, I favour Floyd to win, and have counter arguments for all the above.
People who think Pac would win have good reason too, given the last few years, but not me, my money would be on Mayweather.

Perhaps Floyd could tell us? Considering how he is ducking him, he should see something in him that we dont. :think

I cant predict the outcome of the fight. But I am sceptical about people who write Pac off. I consider Pac to be a very solid volume puncher, and while he might seem crude compared to Floyd, it is a style that is very hard to shut down.

Pacquiao brings a combination of speed, power, and workrate that Floyd Mayweather has never seen before. It's far harder to defend against punches in bunches, and it's not inconceivable that a single punch from Manny could hurt Floyd and change the entire complexion of the fight at any given time. This isn't to say Manny Pacquiao would win, but he certainly wouldn't be dominated like a JMM or a Mosley. Not in my diagnosis anyhow.

i almost always felt floyd would beat him. pac's fight against mosley showed me he cant beat floyd. he should of dominated him, kicked his arse in, but, didnt happen. he looked quite foolish chasing him around the ring. floyd can fight the same way running away and beat pac. pac has shown he cant fight backwards

I'm not a fan of either guy. I always stated I think Floyd wins mind you I can't stand him but that's besides the point.
If pac wins it's because he just keeps coming forcing Floyd out of his comfort zone as a previous poster pointed out. Makes Floyd fight at this pace and doesn't give Floyd a chance to relax and pick him off with shots. Pac forces a furious pace that FLoyd can't adjust too, so Floyd is forced to fight back and Pac's hand speed and workrate catches up to Floyd and hurts him.
The question really is if Pac can do that. It really depends on who can force their fight style.

so when did floyd fought a single guy with a combination of speed, power, great footwork, insane workrate and stamina, power punch accuracy, punches coming from difficult and unexpecting angles, two-fisted hands that packs a wallop and someone who is greater than himself?

i would make it easy for you and find me a great fighter who floyd had fought in his prime/peak?
