i do think Mayweather will put on a boxin clinic, its just Pacquiaos odd angled punches he could get hit by, also Pacquiaos right hook could catch Floyd, but Pacquiao cant win unless he manages to hurt him

Pacquiao is going to have to put Floyd clean out for the 10 count, or he can't win.

Pacquiao: "If that fight happens, I will fight like there's no tomorrow."

    how will floyd fight?

has he ever said anything about the way he will fight against pac other than complaining about peds and making excuses

what? How the hell did Marquez show that? :patsch
He got knocked down 4 times

not really. They did take punishment, but they don't have to eat punches just to land their own vs Pac. Marquez was taking little small steps through most of the fight

The difference with FLoyd and them is FLoyd is better at punching and defending almost simultaneously

:rofl what a shitty way at determining length. Floyd has the reach of a 6 foot person. Floyd is great at using his reach. The only person who even attempted to use their reach against Pac since Marquez was Mosley and Mosley had slight success with it. Floyd is much better at it and has a longer reach than Mosley.
Seriously, why would you use arm length? Both of them won't fight squared up :nut

most of this is true I admit. I think Oscar and Marquez were a little unpredictable when they had Floyd on the ropes and they would throw double and triple hooks
Floyd can fight based off of instinct and muscle memory also. A lot of times when Floyd is sitting there thinking, it's more on how he's going to get you to open up. If you coming at him berserk, then he can just react instinctively and counter

I dont see Pac winning but for sure would be more dangerous than anyone, thing is if anyone can do it its Pac, they are 2 best fighters by far and if that fight doesnt happen its a shame, but who knows if we were in their positions possibly we would act the same, earning so much money and beating guys with low risk of losing.

I favor floyd as well, but a logical answer is pac's footspeed and awkward in and out movement, coupled with his chin, power, and overall toughness (think pac vs cotto) would present floyd with an equation containing some variables of which we've yet to see him solve all at once yet, hence the endless bantering back and forth and huge demand for this match-up

Because aside from the small height and reach disadvantage, Pac has many tools that can trouble Floyd and even beat him.

Speed- there aren't that many fighters that Floyd has fought aside from Zab Judah that can match or even better him in speed than Pac.

Power- Pac doesn't just throw fast but throws every punch with intent to do damage

    Volume- Pac throws a lot...

Accuracy- ... and connects at a big percentage

Angles- Pac's weird angles fool many of his opponents as they just don't expect those punches. Oscar de La Hoya concurs.

Stamina- Pac rarely slows down and keeps at a furious rate all 12 rounds if his opponents are lucky to be still on their feet.

Footwork- Pac, along with floyd, among the best footwork in the game. Opponents often say they think Pac is at a safe distance until they get hit and realize Pac's closed the distance in the blink of an eye.

Underated defense- many don't realize that Pac's opponents connect % are relatively low. People just flap their mouth saying Pac just eats everthing thrown at him because of leaky defense when punch stats say otherwise. Pac has great foot and head movement.

Proven chin- Pac has taken Margarito, Cotto, Clottey, Mosley's best punches and kept moving forward. All were significantly bigger than Pac.

Combinations- Pac maybe among the best of all time. Floyd's counter right works great against single punches thrown at him. De La Hoya swarmed Floyd in the first 8 rounds resulting in an even fight until Oscar gassed.

My take on a possible Pac-Mayweather fight would be much like De La Hoya-Mayweather. Unlike Oscar, Pac won't gas after 8 rounds and will finish Freddie Roach's gameplan which Oscar couldn't: smart, relentless attacks. Calzaghe-Hopkins is another good example on how I think the fight may go down.

Usually when people start talking about Pac only needing volume to beat Mayweather, I stop believing they know anything about boxing. I see that every time I sign in here. "Floyd doesn't throw enough punches! Pacquiao will outwork him!" I roll my eyes every time.

Using the same gameplan from the De La Hoya fight will get Manny's ass beat. There are only 2 reasons that fight was competitive. 1. Oscar's jab 2. Oscar's size. Manny has neither. Manny wont get Floyd to the ropes as tee off on him. Floyd has better footwork so Manny's angles wont be effective. Floyd had better timing so from the 5th round on Floyd will start to counter Manny. Manny leaps in to much. Floyd will def time that.

Morales and JMM outboxed Pac, Cotto won a few rounds outboxing him. All of the guys that Pac beat recently minus hatton he beat by an accumulation of punches. DLH, Cotto, Margo, Morales, Barrera, by the end of the fight he was landing AT WILL on them, he damn near couldnt miss. Pac does not have one punch KO power.

Floyd will outbox pac and will not be getting hit near as much as the other guys because his defense is far superior to all of those guys. Floyd also does not fade down the stretch, he has excellent stamina.

Sure Pac will land on floyd sometimes, but he isnt going to land regularly enough to stop him and he isnt going to outbox him to a UD. He doesnt have one punch power despite what people want to believe.

Oscar's jab couldn't do **** against Pac. Pac's lead in leaning left is an awkward but very effective type jab. I've seen a decline in Floyd's footwork the last 2 fights which may be a result of having less red blood cells in him as you need great stamina to move your feet. Pac's speed will make up for his slight disadvantage in height and reach. Oscar's swarming offense even if it was a low percentage connect rate got him rounds with the judges as Floyd had to wait much longer to counter. Pac will throw better and faster combos than DLH.

this i'm sure of, i can't see manny throwing much combinations in this fight. manny has trouble with those who have good movement and are good counterpunchers. i expect the tempo to be like jmm-pac 2 where pac was limited with his punches.

floyd has lots of movements that would disrupt pac's offense, i see clinches and bending from floyd. floyd will be a very tough fight for pac. i hope to be proving wrong though.

Outside of his angles.. there's really no logical way
