he did it to dlh to avoid the right after throwing a left,

    Pac knows strategy, lol

Why do Floyd fans think that Manny is some dumb stupid boxer who will just be there and be easily hit by Floyds 1-2 punches? lol

Did I not say Oscar wasn't Oscar? I also said that Floyd has better timing. What Manny did to Oscar wont work on Floyd because he has superior timing.

don't want to dig up the thread but there was a poll with considerable amount voting more than 1% chance for the young hungry lion.

1% is downright crazy. what the hell is the testing for if peds is inconsequential. why the hell is he allowing this to prevent the fight from happening when 99% is a damn good chance in itself.

Well I give the edge to Mayweather, but here are some of the reasons Pacquiao might win:

    - Mayweather has never fought anyone as good as Pacquiao, the best fighter he fought was a fading DLH and lightweight Castillo. Pacquiao has fought at least 3 ATGs in their primes.
    - Mayweather is used to fighting more traditional fighters, Pacquiao throws odd punches which will be harder for Mayweather to time. Even if he counters, Pacquiao is not as easily frustrated and will throw counters even as he eats them. This is evident in the Morales and Marquez bouts. These two didn't take punishment because they meant to, Pac throws in some sneaky punches as he is getting hit. Pacquiao also doesn't attack straight forward, he moves in and out and around (could also be a weakness.)
    - None of his previous opponents could match Mayweathers speed or endurance. He is not going to fade late into the fight and his footwork and punches are going to keep their snap the whole fight.
    - He has Freddie Roach in his corner and he is great at following advice. Freddie doesn't break down fighters based on mistakes, but rather their strengths. He is going to break down Mayweather counter punching style based on his usual blocks and slips to a general pattern of openings Pacquiao will try and execute.

    Why I think Pac looses:
    - Pac hasn't fought anyone as fast, tall, or skilled as Mayweather. Though the Marquez debacle was a horrible example and could have been competitive in a different weight and time period, Mayweather showed a lot of physical advantages that Marquez didn't have over Pac. Mayweather is physically stronger, faster, and taller than Marquez, and his reflexes are better.
    - Mayweather is going to use movement. He isn't going to attack Pac uni-directionally. Cotto, Hatton, Margarito basically marched forward trying to impose their strength and took a lot of punishment. Mayweather is going to circle, hug, duck, dodge, and block more than any other fighter Pacquiao has faced.
    - Pacquiao doesn't do well against movement and he doesn't know how to corner fighters. He is great in the middle of the ring and moving around, but he doesn't know how to open up fighters for punches unless they are giving him something to work with. These flaws are very apparent against Clottey, Mosley, and Agapito Sanchez. He also doesn't do well against rough house tactics. He does well against fighters who come straight forward. Mayweather isn't afraid to work on the borderlines of the rules like pushing Pac's head down and tiring him out, hugging when neccessary, and circling away when in danger.
    - Pacquiao has a distinguishable style. He was thrice dissected by Morales and Marquez for a reason. He has a definite in-and-out style which can make him easy to time by a counter puncher, and he has definite combos that leave him open to certain counters. Mayweather is a master at dissecting styles.
    - Oh yeah, even though Pac has great head movement, he stands up to straight, which doesn't work as well against taller rangier fighters

No, if you really know boxing, Pac has a pretty good jab which he doesn't use much because his bread and butter is his powers shots.

Even some of your fellow *****s say that it's good and I even argued against them at some point. But my real argument was that Pac's jabs aren't pretty to watch, but effective nonetheless.
