Now im a ***** Its typical on this site. Any time you point out a flaw, your called a ******* or ***** Anyway all Manny does is throw his jab (with no intention on landing) to set up his left. His jab doesn't land with accuracy. He uses it to sort of blind you then unload with his left. He did it against Mosley all night. Jab and left.

 

Let's make it simple... Fighters who gave Pac problems are not pure counter punchers or defensive specialist but counter fighters who goes to war with chin & heart... If Floyd jr got a Mexican chin & heart to counter Pac on a war like manner then he's got an chance but not exactly a sure win because Pac can put him on the canvass... Like I said before Floyd jr is tailor made for Pac, Why do you think he kept asking for a "level playing field" it's because Floyd jr knows his skills is not enough or better yet his style is not the style that can win against Pac...

Pac was on even terms with Cotto as far as jabs connected % in their fight. Can someone who can't jab do that?

 

Pac would swarm Void "The Woman Beater", angles, would not let up, however, Void will "never" fight Pac, never, fear rules Void!

Number 1. The fight was only competitive for four rounds. Cotto went into survival mode after that.
Number 2. Cotto can't handle swarmer's. Manny was to fast and Cotto couldn't see the punches coming. If a fighter is shooting a jab in your face and you can't see it, you will get hit.
Number 3. Manny countered Cotto's slow jab.
Number 4. Manny only landed 27%. That is not a particularly high percentage.

 

Not a high percentage, but against a fighter than was running away which was equal for Cotto jab connect rate with Manny coming at him.

Under those circumstances, I'd say Pac can jab. It may not be an ATG jab, but it's no weakness either. The way Pac uses his jab suits his style which is to setup his power shots. Conventional boxers utiize the jab more. Pac is not a conventional boxer.

 

Me personally, I think Manny has a **** jab. Obviously you don't agree. Yeah I agree that conventional boxers use their jab more. I also think that Manny doesn't need a jab. He is great at what he does. But when fighting Floyd, a jab is essential. You wont disrupt Floyd's rhythm without one. He WILL adjust. You just can't jump in on Floyd off balance like Manny does. He will get countered every time.
