There was a homie that was on a card called "Bigger's Better", it was a heavyweight tournament similar to the Prize Fighter. He was fantastic. Very fast southpaw with great skills and speed. He was fighting former MMA and Muay Thai fighters but he looked impressive. His name is Constantin Benjenaru:

Hope you don't mind but i thought i would comment on some and ended up rounding out the rest of the division. My top 3 are the most talented imo but i stopped trying to rate them because they honestly could all potentially beat eachother it's so close between them.

All the guys below my top 3 deserve to be mentioned as much as Joshua or Medzhidov imo, some more so probably which speaks to the depth of talent in the division.

1)Dychko - Clearly beat Medzhidov in the semi's at worlds but got screwed. like you said how light he is on his feet and athletic he is is unbeliveable and comical. He has good power but needs to learn to sit down on his punches more often and land a powerful combination to back his opponents off him and buy himself space rather than rely on his footwork as much especially in the pros as he wont be able to use his feet the whole fight. He also took Medzhidovs power shots alot better than Joshua did.

2)Hrgovic -real athletic, can box or fight but his inside game is what impresses me most, reminds me of Bowe. He did a better job pressuring Dychko and bringing the fight to him in the 3rd round than Medzhidov did.

3)Usyk - He a freak. Said he plans to go pro after the Olympics start at CW then move to HW around 215lb. His gold bout vs Mammedov is a joy to watch.. as are all his fights. (Ukraine's Lomachenko, Berynchyk, Khytrov, Gvozdyk, Usyk, Kapitonenko all plan to go pro after olympics and sign with the same promoter)

Omarov - Russia around 6'6 - southpaw quick hands, athletic, high guard good defense, Won 2011 Euro's beating Cammarelle and Roberto was alot more impressive and looking his old self here than at worlds.

Mammedov - 201lbs 6'5 or 6'6 southpaw - Only 18 and won Silver at worlds losing to Usyk. very complete and athletic. Hard to tell since he's so young but if he fills out and become a shw he would be at among the best.

Medzhidov 6'3 250 + - second cousins with Abdulsalamov and has the same freakish power but is a little slower but a more orthodox style and complete boxer. He pressures you, bullies you and hurts you when he lands. Fought in WSB and finished second. Gold at worlds.

Yoka - France 6'5 - won gold at youth olympics 2010 beating Parker in the finals (youtube) and fought in WSB no headgear and did good (youtube). Got stopped by Savon with a uppercut at worlds i didn't see it.

Joshua - everything you said but he was very lucky getting to the finals and is being overrated because of it. Not that he isn't a good prospect just he isn't any better than pretty much everyone listed here. People neglect to mention his chin which i think does deserve note. At euros he was seriously hurt 2x and stopped by Nistor (Nistor below) and against Medzhidov he was stunned or wobbled basically every time he landed flush. I counted 5 times in the 2nd round and 5 times in the 3rd, 10 total. He doesnt lack heart though. I thought Cammarelle won in spite of looking terrible and against Pfeifer a little blood from his nose in the 1st (was even) and they stopped it  was shameful.

Abdelghani - Israel southpaw 6'5 - won bonze at 2010 Euro's although still young enough to fight at juniors and did. Has a reflex based style sort of a Vitali/Calzahe mix although doesn't throw in combination as much as them. don't know whats going on with him as he wasn't at worlds & dont know about olympics. Him Hrgovic Yoka Parker were the top juniors circa 2010 and all fought eachother.

Levit - 201lbs Kazakhstan - around 6'3 very complete boxer, real athletic, good reflexes, great combinatons i was quite impressed at worlds but got screwed in the semis vs Wang just like countryman Dychko.

Sheehan - 6'4 Ireland - moved up from 201 i think. Real athletic, great footwork, handspeed, combinations. Got a stoppage win and looked great doing it then lost to Cammarelle at worlds but i was still impressed with him.

Pfeifer - Germany 6'4 - Beat Kapitonenko and Zuyeu at worlds on his way to semis vs Joshua. Even first round got stopped due to a little blood from his nose as mentioned above. Very complete textbook boxer and athletic.

Parker - 6'5 NZ Samoan - Got Silver at 2010 youth olympics losing to Yoka (youtube) known as a power puncher. Wasn't at worlds

Nistor - Romainia 5'11-6'1 - undersized two handed power puncher uses a high guard and head movement working his way Inside looking to unleash his power shots. Stopped Joshua at euros but then got beat up on the outside against Cammarelle. At worlds Hrgovic was able to do the same. Had no problem with Joshua but i suspect most the SHW's could keep him outside.

Savon - Cuba around 6'5 - Knocked out Yoka with a uppercut at Worlds then got stopped by Medzhidov. Good boxer, quick hands and good power but looks a little bit thin and weak physically.

There's also david price and Newfel Ouatah from the 2008 olympics,
David Price is fighting john mcdermott soon in a british title eliminator, he's 6'8 an undefeated as a pro, I think he should be better than fury.
Newfel Ouatah undefeated as a pro, won the french hw title is 6'6.5, hasnt fought for nearly a year though

Michael Hunter Jr is another to look out for he was training with Wlad for his fight against Haye. The idiot got thrown out the olympic trails though but has another chance to qualfy next year. Probably the only good young American heavyweight in the am.

Normally, as proven throughout history, when a boring period ends (or is about to end) a saviour comes to demolish all opposition and reign supreme

He can definitely do it, but I think he wants to focus on his movie career instead.

Nobody can give him a lucrative enough offer to top what he's making in film, right now.

I wonder what professional trainers and promoters think of the 2012 heavyweight and super heavyweight class? When you consider how young the top talent is they must be salivating. Dychko right now would likely outpoint the Povetkin who took gold in the Oylmpic games.

Well his name ends with KO. DychKO has a good chance to win a world title belt if he goes pro, and like I said he looks a little like Vitali. You're right the general forum haters better brace themselves just in case.
