how is that grasping.... it was sweet to watch those games especially with all the racists mexican fans and commentators who couldnt give PR any credit during the games and the fight

i dont have anything against mexicans but honestly why most of you act racists when your own race is mostly indigenous and you're hispanic like the rest of latinamerica.. but in your mind you all think you are special why i dont know i guess is an inferiority complex

Those midgets own you day in and day out.. It's not the size that counts, it's what you do with it.. some of your most skillful guys have been destroyed by sheer heart and will.. something your people never inherited or will ever have...

I've heard portericans have strong jealous tendencies just a stereotype but it fits very well.... sigue con los celos porque ni a los tobillos.

Mexicans' height differs from region to region. Some regions tend to be short others tall.(They all have heart yours cannot imagine, thats for sure)

Its you that are all midgets, you all look like little chimps. Just look at your fighters from Calderon to Cotto. (Cotto has balls though)

    PR=island of munchkins

 Like if PR was "una isla de gigantes". 99% are midgets in Mexico, :-(.
There are many "chaparrones" in certain regions of Mexico just as in certain region you will find taller people. But to say 99% are midgets :-(.

You have nothing against Mexicans? Man, there are many Boricuas here that can say that, and really mean it. That's not the case this you papo, you definitly do have a chip on your shoulder.

Racism is ugly and could be found in every culture. No one group of people is immune to that social cancer. I never, ever, say that my people is better or above others. You can go through all my post and you will never see crap like that from me. Sure, on this thread I'll give Boricuas a friendly jab here and a taunt there, but even in this thread I give Boricuas their respect.

Your the type that'll talk some serious crap and make a prediction, and when it don't go down the way you predicted, you are no where to be seen. Can't even be man enough to admit when you're wrong :-(.

You like to give the Mexicans crap as well as the Cubans. I think you need to brush off that chip on your shoulder. By the way, congrats to the great performance the PR team put on at the PanAm games. :thumbsup

LOL wtf are you talking about first of all i wasnt accusing you directly of racism. I was just commenting on the experiences of many central americans, boricuas, cubans and african americans that have told me about what they went through.

I've never experience racism from the mexicans i've known. First of all i wouldnt allow it but i can honestly call many of them good friends. Although must of them did had bad things to say about african americans who they call mayates.

Secondly what's that chip on my shoulder you're talking about, off course i give cubans and mexican some crap but that's what a rivarly means you mess with each other so stop crying like a girl.

And yes racism is everywhere here in PR the dominican immigrants get some **** from some boricuas. But is minimal and is not to the level and numbers that goes on in mexico. I always defended mexicans when it came to the racism crap but when you keep hearing what everybody else is experiencing then it has to have some level of truth.

Maybe i havent experience it because i never been to mexico or lived in a mainly mexican community. But what some Puerto Rico athletes and fans had to go through while in mexico for the panamerican games was disgraceful. Insults, attacks and fit fights is not something somebody should be going through when they visit another country for an international competition.

With all the negative publicity mexico has been getting because of the cartel wars. This was a chance for mexico to show another side of them. Mexico shouldve been welcoming everybody with their open arms and showing their best side. It should be about the competition uniting every country of the americas. Mexican fans should have been trying to exalt their rich culture an other good traits like hospitality and compassion.

It wasnt everybody but it was too bad that many of the stories i've been hearing from mexico havent been sports.

It's true because of the early "cast system" that was adopted into Mexico that Mexicans discriminate against one another. I can go on and give you all kinds of personal accounts.

You weren't accusing me directly, but you like to say "Most" and I would disagree with the "most" and the use of 99%. Yeah, you hear some Mex us the term "mayate" just like you can here Boricuas use the term "cocolo", even boricuas that are "mulatones" will use the term. But I'm not trying to call Boricuas racist. We all have our ugly side.

what's that chip on my shoulder you're talking about, off course i give cubans and mexican some crap but that's what a rivarly means you mess with each other so stop crying like a girl.

Nobody crying. I understand the rivalry, and love it. But for you it's personal. You call Cuban Americans "gusanos" taking the rivalry to personal levels.

Many Mexican athletes get crapped on when they go to PR and get called "Indios!!!" (in a derogatory way) That's how it goes. I went to the Margarito vs Clottey fight in Atlantic city and saw plenty of Boricuas yell mad anti-Mexico crap at him. But I don't go around saying, "Man Boricuas are some racist fools..." I take it as they are just heckling. Or am I nieve?

With all the negative publicity mexico has been getting because of the cartel wars. This was a chance for mexico to show another side of them.

I agree, but that's how it's always been in these competitions and they are used to booing and heckling the comp. Rivalries are a big part of Mexico. the North vs the South, Durango vs Michoacan, Cholo vs Ranchero, Mexico vs the World. Look at the Mex vs Mex rivalries there have been in boxing ( Barrera vs Morales and Marquez vs Vasquez). Most that talk crap in these events, do it to heckle just like the Boricuas that I mentioned yelling at Margarito. It's just to heckle. So don't take it to that level.
