Lewis was clearly the better fighter till he got starched. Rahman was landing **** all. A few doubled up jabs with nothing on them and some rights to the chest. and I fixed this for you "against Andrew Golota.. Bowe was very scared.. he didn't win bc he fought.. he won bc Golota quit in the ring from a mental breakdown..." TWICE
Lewis was the better fighter....? Well styles make fights.. and the better fighter doesnt always win.. You think it was luck.. what was luck was Lewis' win against McCall.. Lewis was clearly scared.... Bowe beat Golata more substantially than Lewis beat V Klitchko
I am talking prime Bowe not the overweight and then weight drained version Golota fought. Here are some areas where Bowe is superior to Wlad: - Inside fighting - Heart and chin - Defense - counterpunching - body punches
so what was Lewis' excuse against McCall? he was unprepared? undertrained? Lewis was 29 years old and in prime condition!
Lewis was nailed by a lucky single shot. Lewis wasn't outboxed, not outskilled, not outworked nor was he out-muscled. McCall got lucky like a drunken sailor would get lucky with Lewis 1 in a 1000 times.
Bowe was totally in his prime for Golota. 29-30 I think. Top of his game, and how exactly did he beat Golota substantially? Lewis was on the downside of his career and Vitali is also a better fighter than Golota. You keep saying these fighters are scared. Is that what you call caution? Blocking punches unnecessarily with your face doesn't make you a champ. Also Lewis KO1 Golota.
i guess 2 people got lucky... so it was 2 out of 1000 ... lol! Bowe had an iron chin.. and beat a prime holyfield.. who later became champ.. Bowe also beat an undefeated 6'7" jorge gonzalez who
Bowe was fighting a better fight vs Golota than Lewis vs McCall .... Bowe was never in danger of being Ko'd.... Lewis was dropped.. and dropped badly... you cant say in boxing a>b and b>c so a>c thats like saying Trevor Berbick > Muhammad Ali Ali > Frazier ... Berbick > Frazier .... when in actuality
Bowe lacked the heart, passion and IQ to be a worldclass dominating fighter. He had zero discipline and wasn't willing to sacrifice to be a top athlete. Talented? Yes. But as we all know talent is only 10% of the equation. If you are unwilling to dedicate your life to it and work until your eyes bleed you will never go beyond 5 minutes of fame.
In this case the fights with the common opponent were less than a year apart if that is what you are referencing. Also how exactly would you get Bowe to fight Lewis? Force him at gunpoint?
ok.. 40-1 .... never ko'd and his only loss can be attributed to fan interference.. even then it was a majority decision... unified champion.. and 2 time champ.... as with most boxers who become champs.. success spoils you... and you train less... when you're fighting your way up you have more hunger...
