OH go and **** off, Rob - from someone who makes a habit out of making numbers up it's a bit rich for you to pick holes.

All I'm saying is they must have based it off of something to get credit for the business. Funds or not, banks don't make a habit of providing credit lines to businesses with no sensible business plan.

Is 100,000 that unrealistic? What's the circulation of Boxing News?

Banks have been lending money to anyone who says I promise I'll pay it back, thats why the whole world is pretty much ****ed up and we are in another recession.

 

It's under 11,000 - it's under the magazine's advertising section. Add in Boxing Monthly (which likely shares a portion of the audience) and it might scrape to 20,000. That's actually pretty crap.

I wonder where the 5mil came from. I must look into it at some point.

 

No, that is NOT why we're in a recession - it is a part of the issue but vastly overstated. The biggest single failing was "casino" banking, which was also connected to sub-prime loans on the housing market. Real estate is one of the single biggest contributors to the recession - high capital requirements, low value, high maintenance costs...

Plus, and you're clearly too ****ing stupid to have figured this out, NONE of the banks are lending to SMEs at the moment BECAUSE of the recession. That's why the UK gov't is basically forcing the banks to give money out.

So it's pretty unlikely BoxNation would get credit without some sort of research.
