Munroe/Cermeno....

Quality fight.

 

Meh, would've been really good about a year and a half ago, Cermeno's way past it now.

 

He could win it, IMO.

 

Not unless Rendall's equally past it, he's been failling to beat guys of a similar/lesser level than Munroe as of late, and looked awful against Salinas the other week. Maybe Munroe will try to implement this jabbing on the outside style he's been dipping his feet in as of late and it won't work, but that's unlikely, I can't see Cermeno winning.

 

Is this on the card on the 26th?

 

Yeah, Cermeno's looked pish recently. Most of all though, he's looked weak. Terrazas bullied him, and made him look physically weak. Montiel, a small guy, just blew him out of the water physically. Now that I've said that........Munroe a specimen himself, he could use that to his advantage :think. Munroe looked a bit poor himself against that Eastern European recently though, and Cermeno has a fair bit of skill and guile so I'm not ruling him out just yet.

Cermeno's always just been a rough and ugly fighter for me, and had success at bantam because he was able to effectively utilise his physicality over his opponents, mixed with the fact that either A) they never belonged at the weight(Mijares) or B) they just aren't really that good(Moreno).

He's risen to 122lbs and has, unsurprisingly, looked rather ineffective due to not being able to impose his strength. KO-Chul handled him and beat him into a pink mist, and Terrazas, while the fight still being close and competitive, was able to out-work and out-hustle him for most of the duration. He just doesn't look up to it at super bantam, certainly not at the level he was at 4 pounds south anyways, I don't think he's even fringe world class, just a gatekeeper at this stage.

Munroe's bigger and stronger than him, and even if he does have trouble if he attempts to coast from range as he has been recently(which I don't criticise him for anywhere near as much as anyone else, it's called ''coasting'' for a reason, and he won like every round anyways. Against the hairy Jap that is) all he has to do is step inside and go to work, he'll sweep the rounds away. Cermeno's got the perfect style for him IMO.

Not a bad scalp for Munroe if he does win. Cermeno's at least got some name value.

it was buckland but he injuired im guessing munroe topping cause of being being put back on the card after coming off it to fight 2 weeks b4. hatton has never being mentioned on it just its a hatton promotion show
