What you remind of is in the pre-fight buildup for a Robinson fight, his opponent scored higher hitting a machine. Ray's reply was: "He beat the machine. Let's see what he can do with me"
case in point righ there. Jonathan Morales. 5'9 114lbs. Skin n bones, but can punch a ton. he hit this kid in the forehead.., not the chin, and he still went down. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vd17qbXcnwk[/ame]
Another totally nonsensical response from you that does nothing to substantiate your theory, nor disprove me.
60 yrs in the game doing what? How many national amateur champions have you developed? How many champions have you developed? How many champions have you worked with? How many contenders have you worked with? I have been involved in boxing as a manager/trainer/strength and conditioning coach for 12 yrs. Developed one national amateur champion who was also ranked #1 in the country. Developed one fighter from his start as an amateur to a world champion. Worked with a two time heavyweight champion for 7 fights. As well as several contenders.
Is this a dick measuring contest, c?. If I had better creds than yours, would that win the day? Ya sound like Peanuts:"My father can hang curtains faster than yours. If whatya do works for ya, God speed.
From what ive been told by other ESB posters is basically that the other guy had a glass forehead..... other than that, what was the main point you were making with this post please C.
YOU used your "60 yrs. in the game" as a basis to substantiate your statements. I simply asked what you accomplished in those 60 yrs. given the fact that you cited it to back up your statements.
I THINK what he's trying to say is, you can technically punch harder over time because of balance, flexibility, fluidity and technique, but that you can't generate any more power. I still disagree with it fully, but I think that's where he's coming from
The point was here is a skinny kid that most would not look at as a puncher based on physical appearance. That's real classy to insult a kid. Well done.
I understand that true punchers are born. Same as someone who can run fast, jump high, or throw a baseball fast. But, to say that punching power can not be increased is absolutely wrong.
