Bowie Tupou Fighting Donnell Holmes Should Be A Ripper!!!!!!

They been supposed to fight since Holmes was like 25-0. I think Holmes had the nickname at the same time as Williamson while both were relative unknowns, but because Holmes carries a much higher KO rate, maybe he added the "real" part to it.

Holmes was actually on the fast track for a minute, until he was robbed vs Minto. He was starting to take control of the fight and Minto punked out with a cut. Of course Minto was potshotting for points early, but Holmes was finding the distance and closing in on a KO IMO before the stoppage.

As for Holmes career lately, seems he's trying to get big fights, but for some reason, they aren't materializing. This one should put him back on the map.

Holmes seems like a Malik Scott a guy in his 30's who never stepped up

Holmes has been around for years and his best foe is Minto

 

with such power, he would always be a danger u would think.

My guess is that Bow will feel him out for a few rounds then start unleashing and knock him out by the sixth round.

Holmes was a young prospect at one time and now 38 years old and hasnt done **** ....good thing he signed with don kin back then, did wonders for him...

 

i hope bowie blasts this guy early to make a statement.

i want to see him face a top 10 guy next.

 

I would like to see him fight top ten soon too! If he can blast a few early and stun him like he did Quezada and finish him off under 7.

 

This is a tough fight to call. Tupou is the better fighter - younger, more talent, more power. But he has a suspect chin and Holmes can hit a bit. And it's not like it takes a top notcher to stop Bowie either.

However, Holmes is old, and has also been inactive, a bad combo. I think Tupou will win this as long as he avoids getting cracked solidly on those suspect whiskers.
