    At his best, both mentally and physically, he was up there. Not the best ever though.

    Prime Ali, and also Floyd Patterson was tiny, it's doubtful he'd even be in the HW division if he fought today.

    He's not even in the running. A devastating opening reign at Heavyweight, but the opposition he toppled wasn't of the highest class comparatively to era's gone by. Likewise, his eventual comeback didn't see him defeat too many names of note. Tyson was ultimately defeated by the best fighters he fought.

    Probably not. But he is certainly the most memorable fighter since Ali and will always be a legend that haunts the nightmares of a lot heavies from his era

    How come Tyson's defeat of Spinks is viewed with far, far, far less credit than say SRL defeat of Duran or even Hopkins defeat of Tito for example?

    It doesn't add up, it's not like Tyson was some huge heavyweight.
