oh **** i forgot this one [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwKr2NpX66U"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwKr2NpX66U[/ame] arce at some points threatens to stop the fight due to carbajals lack of activity and increased amount of shots connecting each round. but michael lands some crisp hard crunching punches still threatening...but he has barely won 3 rounds....then the 11th comes round
I watched this probably a month ago and had Mancini winning most of those rounds. He was undoubtedly up on points. Mostly just outworking Arguello. Arguello came on strong in the last rounds of the fight but his power and timing definitely bailed him out there.
Interesting. I thought the fight was in the balance before Arguello rocked Mancini with that right hand cross. I can't remember the round. I respect your opinion, but I personally wouldn't consider this a comeback. Arguello was getting stronger and stronger, as he typically did in long fights.
I'll add: Lausse-Pigou LaMotta-Dauthuille II Carbajal-Gonzalez I Castro-Jackson On paper Douglas-Tyson is a good one too :yep
"Moore-Durelle" '58 "Ramirez-Rosario" '84 "Foreman-Moorer" '94 :deal MR.BILL Runner ups: "Weaver-Tate" 1980 "Castro-J.D. Jackson" 1994
Mancini gave a hell of an effort in that fight.Much better than Jim Watt's tepid attempt to simply survive.
