You might be confusing pound-for-pound with inch-for-inch, mate. And, even then, you've got Langford...:D

This italic **** is ****ing up the way I read your comments, badly. I'm reading everything emphatically. I'm begging you to stop. This is madness.

I know what you mean. Tyson's resume isn't great but it's not at all bad, either. That win, in particular, seems to get unfairly dismissive treatment.

Patterson would be in the ****ing super six...winning it. :bbb

I got alot of respect for Marciano, but to be fair the man does have some losses on his record that he shouldent have and for that he doesent make my top 10 list.

P4P= greatness regardless weight DIVISION (and NOT weight).
Tyson fought at heavy only, so he has to be the best pure heavyweight ever (which he isn't) to be the best heavyweight P4P.
Every heavyweight greater than him (Clay, Louis, Lewis...)) are AUTOMATICALLY greater than him p4P, regardless their weight.

This version of Mike Tyson would kill the best version of Muhammad Ali:

I don't understand how you can be considered a 'p4p great HW'. Is a boxer that is 15 lbs heavier than Tyson less great if he had the same achievements?

No he wouldn't. Tyson lacked the ring intelligence to deal with a guy like Ali.
